Which key changes each camera view?
The original Assetto Corsa keyboard reference lists these camera controls. The labels below describe the controls in that reference; they do not guarantee that every car offers the same angles.

These mappings come from DMM GAMES’ official Japanese keyboard reference. Its labels are translated here, and defaults may differ across editions or platforms.
How do you switch to the cockpit or onboard camera?
- Start or resume a driving session.
- Press F1 repeatedly to cycle through the driver views. F1 is not necessarily a single fixed cockpit angle: it cycles through available driver-facing views.
- If you want a car-mounted onboard angle instead, press F6. The available onboard angles may differ between cars.
A 2024 Steam Community discussion also describes F1 as cycling through car cameras, but the official keyboard reference is the primary source for the listed key assignment: Steam Community discussion.

How do you adjust camera angle or FOV?
For driver-view field of view (FOV), the official keyboard reference lists Ctrl plus or minus on the numeric keypad. This adjusts the driver view rather than changing to another camera mode.
An older 2014 Steam discussion describes adjusting FOV and seat position through an Onboard Settings app. Treat that as installation-dependent: if the app is available among your in-game apps, check its controls; its presence or location is not established for every version or configuration. How do you use the exterior free camera?
Press F5 for the exterior free camera. The official reference lists mouse controls for moving this view. A Steam Community keyboard guide, last updated in 2017, gives additional details for its pivot camera: mouse-wheel zoom, left-drag to pivot, and right-click to rotate. These replay and camera controls are community-documented and may not match every current setup; consult the game’s bindings if they do not respond.

- Open the game’s current control bindings and look for the camera-change action. A Steam Community guide lists “change camera” among configurable controls.
- Check that the key is not assigned differently in your configuration, then use the binding shown in the game.
- If you are using replay or photo mode, note that community documentation says view keys can work there too, but its instructions may be outdated. The guide also lists arrow keys for zoom and panning, right-click-drag to pivot, and F8 for a screenshot; verify these in your installation before relying on them.
The community guide is available at Steam Community: Keyboard commands list. The available sources do not establish one universal reason a camera key might fail.
