Roblox does not offer one universal controller-settings screen for every experience and platform. On Xbox and PlayStation, use the in-experience Help tab to view the controller map. Other settings—such as camera, volume, graphics and accessibility—are available from the in-experience Settings menu, but they do not amount to universal button remapping.
Find the controller map on Xbox
- While playing a Roblox experience, open the Roblox menu with the controller’s Roblox Menu button.
- Select Settings. Roblox’s Xbox guide says to press up on the left thumb-stick to reach it.
- Press RB to open Help and view the controller map.
The map shows general controls, but the experience you are playing may use different controls, rules or mechanics. See Roblox’s Xbox One App: How to Play a Roblox Experience.
Find the controller map on PlayStation
- While playing a Roblox experience, press Options to open the Roblox menu.
- Press R1 to open the Help tab and view the controller map.
- Use L1 to move through the other tabs.
Button prompts may sometimes show controls for other platforms while developers update button mappings or interfaces. Controls can also differ between experiences. See Roblox’s PlayStation App: How to Play a Roblox Experience.
What the in-experience Settings menu can change
Open Settings from the Roblox menu while in an experience to find options such as volume, camera, graphics and accessibility. The specific choices can depend on the experience. Developers can lock camera mode, in which case you cannot switch it freely.

Documented accessibility options include Reduce Motion, Background Transparency and UI Navigation Toggle. These affect accessibility or interface behavior; they are not instructions for remapping controller buttons. Roblox describes these in its in-experience Settings and Help guide.
PlayStation Cross-Platform Play is a separate setting
On PlayStation, Cross-Platform Play is under Roblox Settings > PlayStation Network Settings. It determines whether you can play with users on other platforms; it does not change controller button mappings. See Roblox’s PlayStation Network Settings: Cross-Platform Play.

What if you want to remap buttons or adjust sensitivity?
The official Roblox instructions cited here explain how to view the controller map and use available in-experience settings. They do not establish a universal Roblox button-remapping or controller-sensitivity control for every platform. The documented Xbox and PlayStation steps are console-specific; they should not be treated as PC or mobile instructions. Check the experience’s own controls and the settings available on your platform.
