The quickest way to check recent playtime is Roblox’s built-in Screen time page. Open Roblox Settings > Privacy & content restrictions > Screen time, then select Top experiences. Roblox lists your 20 most-played experiences from the last week and shows the time associated with each one.
That report is not a lifetime counter. If you need older history, check the screen-time report on your phone, tablet, or console instead.

Check your Roblox game time on desktop
- Open Roblox and sign in.
- Select the Settings gear in the upper-right corner.
- Open Privacy & content restrictions.
- Select Screen time.
- Choose Top experiences.
You should see your top 20 experiences for the preceding week, along with the play time Roblox recorded for each one. Roblox’s screen-time graph also shows a seven-day average for time spent across the Roblox platform.
Check Roblox playtime on a phone or tablet
The menu is slightly different in the Roblox mobile app:

- Tap More in the lower-right corner.
- Tap Settings.
- Choose Privacy & content restrictions.
- Tap Screen time, then open Top experiences.
This shows the same type of recent Roblox activity: your top 20 experiences and their recorded time during the last week.
What Roblox’s Screen time report actually measures
There are two related but different measurements in the report:

Because these reports measure different things, the total in the graph may not equal the combined time shown beside the individual experiences. For example, platform time can include activity that does not appear in the top-20 list.
Can you see your lifetime Roblox playtime?
Roblox’s current Screen time instructions describe recent usage—a seven-day average and the top 20 experiences from the last week. They do not document an all-time or lifetime playtime counter for an account.
So, if you are trying to answer “How many hours have I played Roblox ever?”, Roblox itself may not provide the complete total. Use a device or console report for whatever historical data that platform retains, while remembering that those reports have their own limitations.

How parents can check a child’s Roblox playtime
A parent or caregiver can use Roblox parental controls to review a linked child’s recent activity. The parent must create or use a Roblox account with parent privileges, verify their age, and link that account to the child’s Roblox account.
After the accounts are linked:
- Open Settings.
- Select Parental Controls.
- Choose the linked child’s account.
- Scroll to Screen time.
- Select Manage.
- Open Top experiences to see the child’s top 20 experiences from the last week and the time recorded for each.
Linked parents of teens can also receive screen-time insights showing how much time the teen spends on Roblox and which experiences they use. Available controls change as a child gets older. Roblox also says linked parent access is automatically removed when the child’s account reaches age 18.

Set a daily Roblox time limit
Parents can set a daily Roblox limit through parental controls. When the child reaches that limit, Roblox displays a notice and prevents further Roblox use for the rest of that day. This is a daily restriction, not a way to recover a lifetime playtime total.
Use iPhone or iPad Screen Time for more device history
If Roblox’s seven-day report is not enough, an iPhone or iPad can show how long the Roblox app was used on that device.
- Open the device’s Settings.
- Tap Screen Time.
- Make sure App & Website Activity is enabled.
- Tap See All App & Website Activity.
- Choose Day or Week.
- Find Roblox in the app-usage list.
Apple’s Screen Time report measures use of the Roblox app on that particular device. It is not necessarily the same as time played by one Roblox account. It will not include Roblox sessions played on another phone, tablet, computer, or console, and it may include time when the app was open without active gameplay.

For family-managed devices, a parent can use Apple Family Sharing screen-time controls to view and manage a child’s Screen Time when the child’s Apple Account is part of the family group.
Use Android Digital Wellbeing
On an Android phone or tablet, the device-level alternative is Digital Wellbeing & parental controls:
- Open Settings.
- Tap Digital Wellbeing & parental controls.
- Review the usage chart, or tap the chart to open the app list.
- Select Roblox to see its recorded usage.
Android can also provide app timers. The exact labels and location may differ between Android versions and manufacturers, so look for Roblox in the Digital Wellbeing app-usage screen if the menu does not match these steps.
As with Apple’s report, Android measures use of the Roblox app on that device. It does not automatically combine activity from every device connected to a Roblox account.
Check Roblox playtime on PlayStation
For a child playing Roblox on a PlayStation 4, Sony’s family-management tools can show daily playtime. On PS4, open:

Settings > Parental Controls/Family Management > Family Management
PlayStation defines this playtime as the amount of time the child is logged in to the PS4. It may continue counting while a game or application is idle, or when another application is open. Treat it as console login time, not an exact Roblox-only measurement.
PlayStation Family Management also lets the family manager review child-member activity and apply playtime controls. It is useful for checking a child’s console usage, but it cannot reliably separate every minute actively spent inside a Roblox experience from time the console remained signed in.

The Top experiences list is limited to the reporting window and the top 20 experiences. A game played outside the last week may not appear, even if it was one of your most-played experiences in the past.

Which method should you use?
- Want recent time in particular Roblox games? Use Roblox Screen time > Top experiences.
- Want a child’s recent Roblox activity? Use a linked parent account and open Parental Controls > Screen time > Manage.
- Want daily or weekly app history on an iPhone or iPad? Use Apple Screen Time.
- Want app usage on Android? Use Digital Wellbeing & parental controls.
- Want a child’s PlayStation usage? Use PlayStation Family Management, but interpret the result as console login time.
- Want an all-time Roblox total? None of these reports is guaranteed to provide a complete lifetime figure. Roblox’s own report is recent, and device reports only cover the devices and periods they recorded.
Quick troubleshooting checklist
- Confirm that you are signed in to the correct Roblox account.
- Look under Privacy & content restrictions; the Screen time page is not the same as general account activity.
- Use Top experiences if you need individual game or experience times rather than total Roblox platform time.
- Remember that Roblox reports the last week, not your entire account history.
- If you are checking a child’s account, make sure the parent account is age-verified and linked correctly.
- For older records, check every device or console used to play Roblox; one device’s report will not include activity from the others.
- Do not treat PlayStation’s result as exact gameplay time because its counter can include idle login time.
