Toronto’s Nintendo destination is a 1,500-square-foot Nintendo space inside the EB Games flagship at 267 Yonge Street, Toronto, Ontario M5B 2H1. Regular hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Because holiday schedules, launches and retailer changes can override regular hours, check the store listing and call 416-866-8368 before travelling.
For stock, use the EB Games product page or store locator, select the 267-269 Yonge Street location, search the exact product or SKU, and then phone the store to confirm that the item is physically available. Nintendo’s retail pages do not publish a guaranteed live unit count for this location.

What you will find at the Nintendo space
This is not a standalone Nintendo-branded building. It is a permanent Nintendo area within the EB Games flagship. The space is built around Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and software, playable demo systems, Nintendo-themed displays, merchandise and photo opportunities.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
That distinction matters when you plan a visit. EB Games controls the retail transaction, inventory records, holds and store-level rules, while Nintendo publishes many product, promotion and event announcements. A Nintendo announcement can identify a participating retailer without guaranteeing that every item or activity is present at this particular Yonge Street location.
Hardware and software
Switch 2 consoles, games and related accessories are part of the space’s purpose. Availability is still item-specific: a store can have a console but not a particular game, or have a game available for preorder rather than immediate purchase.
Demos and displays
Playable systems and themed displays are part of the permanent concept, but a demo listing does not promise that every game is running whenever you arrive. Demonstration hardware can be occupied, temporarily offline or assigned to a scheduled activity.

Merchandise and photo opportunities
Nintendo merchandise and photo areas are included in the space. Treat individual merchandise as normal retail stock: availability can change without a public unit count, and limited items may have purchase limits.
How to check whether it is open today
- Start with the regular schedule. For Monday through Saturday, use 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.; for Sunday, use 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
- Check the EB Games Toronto listing on the day of travel. Look for a holiday notice, a launch-event schedule or a temporary change. The regular schedule is not a promise that the doors will follow it on every date.
- Call 416-866-8368 before setting out. Ask the staff member to confirm that the Yonge Street location is open at the time you plan to arrive, especially on a holiday or an event day.
- Allow time for retailer procedures. A store may be open while a particular activity, demo station or pickup counter has different operating instructions.
The safest interpretation of the posted hours is “normal retail hours,” not a guarantee for a launch, holiday or ticketed experience. If you are travelling from outside downtown Toronto, make the phone call even when the online listing appears current.

How to check Nintendo Switch 2 and game stock
Use two checks rather than relying on a web badge alone: the EB Games locator or product page, followed by a direct call to the store.
Step 1: Select the correct Yonge Street store
Open the EB Games product page or store locator and choose the listing for 267-269 Yonge Street. Toronto has many retailers and search results can default to a different branch. Confirm the street before reading an availability message.

Step 2: Search the exact item
Search for the precise product, such as “Nintendo Switch 2 system,” a named Switch 2 game, an accessory or a Nintendo merchandise item. A broad search for “Switch 2” can combine consoles, bundles, games and accessories with different inventory records.
Step 3: Read the availability status carefully
Note whether the page describes the item as available, preorder-only, limited or unavailable. The status is tied to the selected store and product record; it is not a guaranteed reservation. Do not assume that a console bundle and a standalone console share the same stock.
Step 4: Call with the exact product name
Phone 416-866-8368 and give the staff member the exact item or SKU. Ask whether it is physically on the shelf, reserved for another customer, awaiting a preorder pickup or subject to a one-per-customer limit.

- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Step 5: Clarify holds and collection timing
If you need the item held, ask whether the store offers a hold, how long it lasts and what identification or payment is required. Do not travel on the assumption that an employee can hold an item unless the store confirms the arrangement.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsWhy an online badge can change
Inventory can sell between a website update and your arrival. Nintendo’s retail information repeatedly describes offers as “while supplies last,” and no guaranteed live unit count is published for the Toronto space. A phone confirmation reduces the risk but cannot turn a limited promotion into a reservation unless the store explicitly accepts one.
Products and promotions you may see
Nintendo Canada’s retail-offers information lists products available through participating retailers. The list is useful for identifying what to ask about, but it is not a Toronto-specific stock report.
| Product or offer | How to interpret it for Toronto |
|---|---|
| Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle | Ask EB Games whether the exact bundle is available at 267-269 Yonge Street. |
| Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle | Confirm the edition, included software and current Toronto inventory before travelling. |
| Talking Flower interactive toy | Participating-retailer listing; local stock must be confirmed by EB Games. |
| Nintendo eShop cards | Ask about the denomination you need, since card values can have separate inventory records. |
| Nintendo Switch + Nintendo Switch Sports + Leg Strap Bundle | Verify that the bundle, rather than individual components, is in stock. |
| Metroid Prime 1–3: A Visual Retrospective hardcover book | Check whether the Toronto store has received the book and whether copies are reserved. |
Example: a dated preorder promotion
A current Canadian promotion offers a holographic slipcover with a preorder of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2 at EB Games. The offer is valid until November 4, 2026, while supplies last. Before visiting, confirm all three conditions: the preorder must qualify, the Toronto store must be participating, and slipcovers must remain available. A promotion’s end date does not guarantee that its giveaway item will still be in stock.
How to track demos, events and local updates
Use Nintendo Canada’s Retail offers page and What’s new news feed for national announcements, then check the EB Games Toronto listing for local hours and contact details. This two-source approach separates Nintendo’s event information from the store’s operational confirmation.

Reading an event announcement
Check each announcement for:
- the calendar date and local start and end times;
- the participating retailer list;
- whether the activity is a demo, giveaway, preorder promotion or ticketed experience;
- any “while supplies last” language;
- age, registration or purchase requirements.
For example, Nintendo’s Lunar New Year post scheduled Canadian retail activities for February 14-15 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. local time and named participating Ontario stores. A time window in a national post is not proof that every Toronto session has unlimited capacity, so confirm with the local retailer.
Switch 2 demo listings
Nintendo advertises in-store Switch 2 demos at select EB Games, Walmart and Best Buy locations and directs readers to contact the local retailer for details. “Select” is important: the existence of a demo program does not establish that the Yonge Street store is running a specific game on a particular day. Call before making a special trip and ask which system or game is scheduled.
Promotions versus events
A retail offer can be claimed with a qualifying purchase or preorder, while an event may involve a timed session, giveaway or registration. Do not infer ticket requirements from a product promotion, and do not assume that an event announcement includes a product discount.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Ticketed Nintendo experiences in Toronto
Ticketed activities have stricter access rules than ordinary demos or shopping. Nintendo’s Toronto FAQ states that walk-up tickets are not available.
- Create or use a Nintendo Account. Registration is required for the ticket process.
- Monitor the account email. Check the inbox as well as spam and promotions folders for a selection or waitlist message.
- Act within the claim window. If selected, you have 36 hours from the email to claim the offer.
- Bring the confirmed ticket information. Do not rely on arriving at the venue without the advance confirmation.
Waitlists are first-come, first-served. Being on a waitlist is not the same as having admission; you must receive a selection message and claim it within the stated 36-hour period.
Best Value

- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.

Children and tickets
Children aged seven and older need a ticket. Children six and under may attend with a ticketed parent or guardian. If your group includes children, make sure the adult’s ticket and the child’s eligibility match the event instructions before travel.
Choosing the right visit plan
| Your priority | Best preparation | Main risk |
|---|---|---|
| Buy a specific Switch 2 product | Search the exact SKU, then call 416-866-8368 and ask about physical stock, reservations and limits. | Web status changes before arrival. |
| See a playable demo | Check Nintendo’s demo announcement and call the store for the day’s system or game. | A listed program may be limited to selected locations or times. |
| Attend a giveaway or promotion | Read the date, participating-retailer list and “while supplies last” terms. | Giveaway inventory can run out before the published end date. |
| Attend a ticketed experience | Register with a Nintendo Account, monitor email and claim the offer within 36 hours if selected. | Walk-up admission is not available. |
| Browse merchandise and displays | Visit during regular hours and call if travelling a long distance. | Individual merchandise and demo stations can change. |
Troubleshooting common problems
The locator shows stock, but staff cannot find it
Read back the exact product name and SKU. Ask whether the status refers to a preorder, a reserved unit, a different bundle or stock awaiting processing. If the item is not physically available, request the next expected update rather than treating the online badge as a promise.
The store is listed as open, but an event is not running
Regular retail hours and event hours are separate. Ask whether the event is scheduled for that date, whether capacity has been reached and whether a ticket or registration is required.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →A promotion appears online but is missing in store
Confirm the promotion’s qualifying product, preorder requirement, participating-retailer status, expiry date and supply limitation. The holographic slipcover promotion, for example, requires a qualifying Ocarina of Time preorder and lasts only until November 4, 2026, while supplies last.
You missed the ticket email
Search the Nintendo Account email address, including spam and promotions folders. If the 36-hour claim period has expired, the offer may no longer be claimable; a waitlist position does not create walk-up access.
You arrive and a demo station is occupied
Ask staff whether there is a scheduled rotation or another playable system. Demo availability is operational and can change during the day, even when the space itself is open.
Before-you-leave checklist
- Confirm that the listing is the 267-269 Yonge Street EB Games location.
- Check the day’s hours against the regular Monday-Saturday or Sunday schedule.
- Call 416-866-8368 before travelling, particularly on holidays and launch days.
- Write down the exact product name, bundle and SKU you want.
- Ask whether the item is on the shelf, reserved, preorder-only or limited per customer.
- For promotions, verify the qualifying purchase, deadline, participating retailer and “while supplies last” condition.
- For demos, confirm the specific game, date and session time.
- For ticketed events, complete Nintendo Account registration and bring the advance confirmation; do not plan on a walk-up ticket.
What is certain—and what still needs confirmation
The Toronto Nintendo destination, its Yonge Street address, phone number, regular hours and store-within-a-store format are established. The space is intended to provide Switch 2 products, demos, displays, merchandise and photo opportunities.
What is not published as a guaranteed figure is a live unit count. Product availability, demo operation, event capacity, giveaway inventory and holiday hours can change. The practical answer is therefore a sequence: check the current retailer listing, identify the exact item or event, and call the Toronto store for the final confirmation before you travel.
Quick Recap
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
