Steam and Epic show Path of Exile hours in their game libraries. On Steam, open your Library and select Path of Exile (app ID 238960); the total appears beside the Play control. In the Epic Games Launcher, enable the Time Played column or open the game’s menu and read You’ve Played. PlayStation exposes hours through console profile features and seasonal Wrap-Up reports, while Xbox uses its game or profile page when a counter is available.
The standalone Grinding Gear Games client is different: official material confirms that GGG processes gameplay data, including play time, but does not document a public page or launcher field that totals standalone hours. Players commonly report asking GGG Support for an account total, but that is a support request rather than a guaranteed self-service feature. There is also no documented public counter that merges Steam, Epic, standalone, PlayStation and Xbox history into one number.

Choose the counter that matches where you played
Path of Exile playtime is normally recorded by the platform that launched the game. A Steam figure describes sessions started through Steam; an Epic figure describes sessions started through Epic; a console figure follows that console’s account and reporting system. Those numbers are useful, but they are not automatically a complete record of every Path of Exile character you have ever played.

- Steam: an always-available library total for the Steam version.
- Epic Games Store: an always-available library total, shown as Time Played or You’ve Played.
- Standalone GGG client: no documented public total in the official material reviewed; Support is the practical escalation route.
- PlayStation: console/profile features and limited-time annual reports such as PlayStation Wrap-Up.
- Xbox: the Path of Exile game or profile page when the platform exposes a counter; exact current menu labels are not documented in the available official Xbox material.
Before comparing values, decide what you are trying to measure: time in one storefront, time attached to a GGG account, or a rough estimate across several platforms. Those are different measurements.

Check Path of Exile hours on Steam
Steam’s library page is the quickest way to see hours played through Steam. You need to be signed in to the Steam account that owns or has played the game.
- Open Steam and sign in.
- Select Library in the top navigation.
- Choose Path of Exile from your games list. The Steam listing uses app ID
238960. - Read the playtime shown on the game page near the Play control.
The number is the playtime Steam associates with that installation and account. It is not a server-side statement of every hour associated with your GGG account. If you played on Epic, through the standalone client, or on a console, those sessions do not become part of the Steam library figure merely because the same GGG account was used.
If Steam shows no hours
- Confirm that you are signed in to the Steam account used to launch Path of Exile.
- Open the game from Library, rather than relying on a desktop shortcut, so you are viewing the correct Steam entry.
- Check that you selected Path of Exile rather than another similarly named library item.
- If your history is split between Steam and another platform, treat the Steam value as a platform subtotal, not as an account-wide total.
Check Path of Exile hours in the Epic Games Launcher
Epic documents two ways to view playtime. The wording is important because the launcher presents the value in different places depending on the library layout you use.
Use the library list and the Time Played column
- Sign in to the Epic Games Launcher.
- Open Library.
- Switch to the list-view layout by selecting the list-view icon.
- Find the Time Played column for Path of Exile. Epic describes this column as displaying playtime for games you have played.
Use the game’s three-dot menu
- Remain in Library and locate Path of Exile.
- Open the three-dot menu beside the game.
- Read the value labeled You’ve Played.
Both displays refer to Epic-recorded playtime. They do not merge sessions from Steam, the standalone client, PlayStation or Xbox. If you moved between launchers, keep the Epic value labeled as your Epic subtotal when you record it.
When the Epic value looks incomplete
First verify that the launcher is signed in to the account that actually started your Path of Exile sessions. Then check both Epic displays: the list view’s Time Played column and the title menu’s You’ve Played value. If they do not appear, the launcher may not be presenting the playtime field in your current library layout. A missing Epic field does not prove that your GGG account has no playtime; it only means the storefront is not showing a usable value at that moment.

Find playtime from the standalone Grinding Gear Games client
The standalone client does not have a documented public self-service total in the official material available for this guide. Grinding Gear Games’ privacy policy says that it processes gameplay data, including play time, and identifies account identifiers for Steam, Epic, PlayStation and Xbox. That confirms that relevant data can exist on GGG’s systems, but it does not document a player-facing account page or launcher field that adds up all standalone-client hours.
Ask GGG Support for an account total
Community reports describe players contacting GGG Support and requesting an account playtime total. Present this as a support inquiry, not as an automatic feature: response methods, the level of detail supplied and whether an exact total is available can vary.

- Explain that you want the playtime associated with your GGG account and that you played through the standalone client.
- Identify the platforms you used, such as standalone, Steam, Epic, PlayStation or Xbox. This helps Support understand whether you are asking about one client or several account records.
- Provide only the account information Support requests through its official channel. Do not send a password or payment details in an ordinary support message.
- Ask whether the figure supplied is a server-side account estimate, a platform subtotal or another measurement, and keep that qualification with the number.
A Support response may differ from a Steam or Epic value because the systems measure different things. It may also be unable to provide a single historical figure for every platform. There is no published guarantee that Support will return a number or that the number will include every past session.
Check Path of Exile playtime on PlayStation
PlayStation availability depends on the console’s profile features and on whether an annual report is currently open. Sony’s 2025 PlayStation Wrap-Up announcement gave eligible PS4 and PS5 players access to total hours played and most-played games from December 9, 2025, through January 8, 2026. That was a seasonal access window, not a permanent live counter.
Use console or profile playtime features
- Sign in to the PlayStation profile that played Path of Exile.
- Open the console’s game, profile or activity area where playtime is displayed, if that feature is available for your account and system software.
- Select Path of Exile and record the displayed hours, noting the profile and platform.
Menu names and availability can change by console generation, region and account feature set. If you are looking for the 2025 Wrap-Up after January 8, 2026, that access period has ended; a later annual report may use different dates and eligibility rules. A seasonal report should not be treated as an always-on replacement for a live game counter.

What a PlayStation number means
A PlayStation figure is tied to the PlayStation profile and the reporting period or feature that produced it. It does not automatically include Steam, Epic, standalone or Xbox sessions. It can therefore be lower than the amount of time you remember spending in Path of Exile if you changed platforms.
Check Path of Exile playtime on Xbox
On Xbox, start with the Path of Exile game page or the Xbox profile interface on the console or associated account. The available official material confirms Xbox account integration for Path of Exile, but it does not provide a current, authoritative set of menu labels specifically for this game.
- Sign in to the Xbox account used to play Path of Exile.
- Open your games or profile area and select Path of Exile.
- Look for a playtime, statistics or activity value on the game/profile page.
- Record the number with the Xbox account and the date you viewed it.
If no counter is present, do not assume that the account has no play history. Xbox surfaces different information in different interfaces, and the exact Path of Exile menu path is not documented in the current official Xbox material available here. For an account-level question, contact GGG Support and state that your sessions included Xbox.
Why platform totals do not always match
Two numbers can both be accurate while measuring different slices of your history. Compare them on four axes before deciding that one is wrong.
| Comparison axis | What to ask | How the common counters differ |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | Which account or storefront produced the number? | Steam and Epic report their own library sessions. Console reports belong to a console profile. A GGG Support response, if provided, may refer to server-side account records. |
| Time basis | Does the value represent launcher/runtime time or active gameplay? | Storefront counters are platform session measurements. They may include time while the game was open but the character was inactive, so they are not necessarily active combat or mapping time. |
| Coverage | Does the record cover the characters and history you care about? | A storefront value is attached to sessions on that storefront. A server-side response may use GGG records and can differ from a storefront total. The available documentation does not establish one universal rule for deleted characters or every historical account state. |
| Availability | Can you view it whenever you want? | Steam and Epic library values are designed as ongoing displays. PlayStation Wrap-Up was available only during its stated seasonal window. Xbox and standalone visibility depends on the account or support route. |
Do not add platform numbers automatically and call the result your exact playtime. A session may be counted differently by a launcher and by a server, and you may not know whether an old platform record covers the same account period. If you need a personal estimate, label it clearly as an estimate and list each subtotal used.

Make a defensible estimate across platforms
There is no documented unified public counter that combines Steam, Epic, standalone, PlayStation and Xbox history. You can still create a useful personal estimate if you preserve the source and limits of every value.
- Write down the Steam value and identify the Steam account and date viewed.
- Write down Epic’s Time Played or You’ve Played value separately, with the Epic account and date.
- Record any PlayStation or Xbox value separately, including whether it came from a live profile feature or a seasonal report.
- If GGG Support supplies an account figure, keep it as its own server-side measurement instead of silently adding it to storefront totals.
- Only add values when you are confident they represent non-overlapping sessions. If overlap is possible, report a range or leave the values as separate subtotals.
- Use a note such as “Steam subtotal,” “Epic subtotal,” or “console seasonal report” beside every number.
This approach prevents a precise-looking total from hiding uncertain account overlap. It is especially important if you used the same GGG account through more than one launcher.
Troubleshoot a missing or surprising number
The launcher shows zero or no playtime
- Check the signed-in platform account first. A different Steam or Epic login can show the right game with the wrong history.
- Use the platform’s library or profile page rather than a shortcut or a third-party tracker.
- Confirm that you are viewing the correct Path of Exile listing.
- Compare the platform value with your own launch history. If you played elsewhere, the missing hours may simply belong to another platform.
The number is lower than your memory
Separate active gameplay from time with the game running. Storefront counters are runtime-style platform measurements and may not represent only combat, trading or mapping. Also check whether your remembered sessions occurred on another launcher or console.
You want hours for deleted characters or an old account period
Do not infer coverage from a current launcher total. The available documentation does not establish a universal rule for deleted-character history. Ask GGG Support what records its response covers, and keep that explanation attached to any number you receive.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsYou cannot find the PlayStation Wrap-Up
The 2025 report’s access period ended on January 8, 2026. A seasonal report is not continuously available, so use a current console/profile feature if your account offers one or wait for the next official reporting period.
Xbox provides no visible counter
The current official material does not specify exact Xbox menu labels for Path of Exile. Check both the game page and profile activity area, then contact GGG Support if you need an account-level answer.
Which method should you use?
| Your goal | Best first step | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|
| Hours played through Steam | Steam > Library > Path of Exile | Does not include other platforms. |
| Hours played through Epic | Epic Library > list view > Time Played, or the three-dot menu > You’ve Played | Does not include other platforms. |
| Standalone-client history | Contact GGG Support with an account-total request | Not a documented self-service feature and not guaranteed. |
| Recent PlayStation activity | Use the console/profile playtime feature when available | Feature availability and labels vary. |
| Annual PlayStation summary | Use the applicable PlayStation Wrap-Up during its access window | The 2025 window was December 9, 2025 to January 8, 2026. |
| Xbox activity | Check the Path of Exile game/profile page | No current official menu path with exact labels is documented here. |
| All-platform total | Keep platform subtotals separate and ask GGG Support about server records | No documented unified public counter exists. |
Bottom line
For a fast, reliable storefront answer, use Steam’s Library page or Epic’s Time Played/You’ve Played field. Use PlayStation or Xbox profile features for console-specific history, remembering that PlayStation Wrap-Up is seasonal. If you played through the standalone client or need an account-wide figure, contact GGG Support and ask what its server-side number covers. Treat every result as platform-specific unless its scope is explicitly documented.
