Find your PlayStation wallet balance
Sony’s instructions below are for US PlayStation accounts. Menu labels or available payment methods may differ by country or region. See Sony’s wallet instructions for the official paths.

On the web
- Sign in to PlayStation Store.
- Select your profile icon, then choose Payment Management. Your balance appears at the top of the screen.
On PS5
- Open PlayStation Store.
- Press Triangle, then select … (More). The balance appears beside your profile icon.
On PS4
- Go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information.
- Select Wallet and sign in if prompted.
- Select Add Funds. Your balance appears at the top right.
In the PlayStation App
- Select the PlayStation Store icon.
- Open the menu in the top-right corner and choose Payment Methods. Your balance appears at the top.
Will your wallet cover the game?
PlayStation uses wallet funds first at checkout. If the balance is less than the purchase total, you can pay the remainder with another payment method. Some subscriptions may still require a payment method on the account even when wallet funds are used. Sony’s wallet guidance explains how wallet funds are applied.

What to know about child accounts
A child account does not have its own wallet and cannot add funds to one. Eligible purchases are charged to the family manager’s wallet and are subject to the child account’s spending limit. Sony says the limit defaults to zero when a child account is created. See Sony’s payment-method and account guidance.

If you need to add funds
Sony says wallet funds can be added with an accepted payment method or a PlayStation Store gift card (voucher code). Payment methods vary by country or region, so check the support page for your account’s region rather than assuming the US list applies. Sony lists payment methods accepted on the US PlayStation Store; consult the relevant regional guidance for your account.

If a recent top-up is missing
- Check your transaction history to confirm whether the funding or purchase succeeded.
