What the Champion Teal Knight reward is
Champion Teal Knight is a digital Fortnite outfit tied to the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup. Epic’s event listing describes the competition as a chance to earn Champion Teal Knight cosmetic rewards, while the published rules provide specific outfit-placement cutoffs. This is therefore an in-game tournament reward, not a physical product, accessory, toy, model kit, or separately sold item.

Minimum age
Epic’s event listing requires players to be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in their country of residence when that local minimum is higher. The requirement applies before you enter the cup, so check your account and local eligibility rather than assuming that owning Fortnite is enough.

Multifactor authentication
Multifactor authentication (MFA) must be enabled on the Epic Account used for the competition. Turn it on before the session begins and confirm that the account shows MFA as active. Entering with a different account from the one on which MFA is enabled can leave you ineligible for the reward associated with your competition account.
Keep the competing account active
Epic’s rules say potential winners must keep the relevant Epic Account active during eligibility verification. Use the same account for the cup, the event-related email, and the Fortnite Locker. Do not deactivate or abandon that account while Epic is checking results.
Prize-restricted regions
The rules’ Prize Restricted Regions clause excludes residents of Turkey and Russia from prizes. That restriction is separate from the placement table: finishing high enough does not override the prize-region rule.
Choose the correct cup format and read your placement target
Epic publishes separate outfit cutoffs for the Battle Royale/Zero Build competition and for the Mobile Cup. Select the table that matches the event format you actually play. A result in one format does not substitute for a result in the other because Epic lists them as separate prize tables.

These are the outfit cutoffs in Epic Games’ 2026 rules. “1st–1,000th,” for example, means the qualifying placement range runs from first through 1,000th place for that region and format. It does not mean that every entrant receives the outfit, and it does not promise a reward for merely completing a match.
How to decide which target applies
- Playing Solo Battle Royale or Solo Zero Build: use the Battle Royale/Zero Build column for the region attached to your event.
- Playing the Mobile Cup: use the Mobile Cup column; its cutoffs are lower in every listed region.
- Comparing regions: use only the region and leaderboard shown for your own competition. Do not apply an EU cutoff to a NAC, BR, NAW, OCE, Asia, or ME result.
How to enter and play the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup
Epic’s rules identify Solo Battle Royale and Zero Build qualifier sessions, with a separate Mobile Cup prize table. The event listing in your Fortnite client is the place to confirm that the cup and a session are currently available. Epic’s cited material does not publish one universal menu path for entering every platform, so follow the event card presented in your client rather than relying on an old screenshot or a different tournament’s instructions.
- Prepare the correct Epic Account. Sign in to the account that has MFA enabled, meets the age requirement, and will remain active during verification.
- Open the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup event listing. Confirm that the session is the format you intend to play: Solo Battle Royale, Solo Zero Build, or the Mobile Cup where offered.
- Check the region shown for the session. Match that region to the appropriate cutoff in the table above. The published rules do not allow you to treat a different region’s placement range as your own.
- Read the event details before launching. Verify the session window, format, and any on-screen conditions supplied by Epic for that session. The rules cited for the qualifier sessions describe a session of approximately three hours.
- Play within the match allowance. Each cited qualifier session permits a maximum of 11 matches. Once you have used those matches, additional games do not create extra attempts for that session.
- Finish with a qualifying leaderboard position. Your objective is to end the session inside the outfit cutoff for your format and region, not simply to participate. Keep your account information consistent after the session so Epic can verify a potential win.
What the three-hour and 11-match limits mean
The approximately three-hour session length and 11-match maximum are separate limits. You must play during the scheduled session, and you cannot exceed the published match allowance. Because Epic’s material does not provide a universal scoring formula in the cited event description, do not assume that a particular number of eliminations, victories, or points guarantees Champion Teal Knight. The relevant result is your final placement on the applicable event leaderboard.
What happens after you finish inside the cutoff
Epic sends the notification
Epic’s rules state that potential winners are notified at the email address associated with the Epic Account within 60 days after the applicable session, or later if reasonably required. A missing message immediately after the event is not, by itself, evidence that the outfit was denied.

Eligibility verification comes first
Placement makes you a potential winner; Epic still verifies eligibility under the event rules. Keep the competing account active while that process is underway, and monitor the account’s associated email address. The rules’ age, MFA, account, and prize-region conditions continue to matter during verification.
There is no documented manual code claim
The official material identifies the cup and its prize table as the source of the outfit. It does not describe a code-entry screen, a physical card, an Amazon item, or another separate redemption step. If you qualified, the expected destination is the Epic Account used for the cup, after Epic’s verification and grant process.

- Open Locker from the lobby. Epic Support’s general cosmetic workflow starts by accessing your Locker from the lobby.
- Open the Locker tab and select Character. This is the outfit category in Epic’s outfit-specific workflow.
- Select the outfit slot. Choose the outfit currently displayed in the picker to open the available outfits on that account.
- Choose Champion Teal Knight. Select the granted outfit from the list.
- Select Back. Epic’s instructions use Back to confirm the selection and return to the lobby flow.
The same Locker workflow applies whether you are changing from another outfit or equipping Champion Teal Knight for the first time. You do not need to enter a second code after the outfit appears in the picker.

If Champion Teal Knight is not visible
Check the account first
Sign out mentally from the assumption that every Fortnite profile shares cosmetics. Confirm that you are using the exact Epic Account that entered the cup and that its associated email is the one Epic would use for notification. A different console or mobile login can make the Locker look empty even when the qualifying account is elsewhere.
Check the correct Locker category
Use Locker > Character and inspect the outfit picker. Champion Teal Knight is an outfit, so searching unrelated cosmetic categories will not show it.
Allow for the notification and verification window
Epic allows up to 60 days after the applicable session, and the rules permit longer when reasonably required. Before that period has passed, the absence of an outfit is not necessarily an error. Keep the qualifying account active and continue checking its associated email for the eligibility notice.
Do not look for a physical redemption item
There is no cited physical product or manual redemption code for this reward. Searching for a toy, accessory, media disc, or retailer listing will not complete the claim. The source of the cosmetic is the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup prize process.

Recheck the rule conditions
- Was MFA enabled on the account used for the cup?
- Did the account holder meet the minimum age for the country of residence?
- Was the final position inside the cutoff for the correct format and region?
- Is the account still active for verification?
- Does the prize-restricted-region clause apply to the account holder’s residence?
If all of those checks are satisfied and the notification and verification window has passed, use Epic’s available support options with the competing account details and event information. The cited workflow does not provide a separate retailer or code-based remedy.
Common mistakes that prevent a successful claim
Confusing participation with qualification
The event is not a participation giveaway. The outfit is tied to a placement range, so completing matches without reaching the published cutoff does not establish eligibility.
Using the wrong cutoff column
Mobile and Battle Royale/Zero Build have different prize ranges. The Mobile Cup’s EU, NAC, and 30-place regional ranges cannot be substituted for the Battle Royale/Zero Build table, and vice versa.
Ignoring the region label
The same finishing position can qualify in one region and miss the cutoff in another. Read the region attached to the session you entered before judging your result.
Forgetting MFA until after the tournament
MFA is an entry requirement, not a setting to add after discovering a good leaderboard position. Enable and verify it before playing.
Expecting an instant Locker unlock
Epic’s process includes potential-winner notification and eligibility verification. The outfit may not appear immediately after the final match, and Epic’s stated notification period can extend to 60 days or longer when reasonably required.
