How do I complete a standard delivery mission?
Use the mission listing and active objective as your guide: first identify where the contract sends you, then navigate to the target and finish the hand-in. The exact destination and payout vary by contract, so the listing in your current game is the authority for that mission.
- Open the station mission system. Visit a Space Station and use its Mission Board or speak with the Mission Agent. Look through the secondary missions for a delivery contract.
- Review the contract before accepting. Check who commissioned it, where it goes, what the objective asks you to deliver, the reward and the standing change. Compare available listings if the reward or destination matters to you.
- Accept it and make it active. Confirm the delivery is selected in the mission log. An accepted contract can remain inactive if another mission is selected, so make the delivery the tracked objective before departing.
- Travel to the listed system. If the destination is in another star system, complete that interstellar trip before searching for the local objective. The system named in the contract is the important checkpoint; searching in the wrong system can make the marker appear missing.
- Follow the compass in the correct system. Once you have reached the destination system, use the compass marker to find the objective. A delivery may lead you to a local site, structure or recipient rather than ending at the station itself.
- Use Target Sweep when the waypoint is approximate. For missions that provide an approximate waypoint, open the Analysis Visor and use its Target Sweep to help locate the target. Treat the approximate marker as an area to search, not necessarily as the exact hand-in point.
- Complete the hand-in. Deliver the requested item or package at the indicated destination or to the named recipient. Follow the interaction prompt until the contract registers as complete.
- Report completion if requested. Some contracts can ask you to return to a relevant mission interface. If the objective remains in the log after the delivery interaction, go back to the mission board or Mission Agent named by the game and finish the report step.
If the destination marker seems wrong
First check that the delivery is still active and that you are in the system named by the contract. An inactive mission can leave you following a marker for another objective. The compass is meant to guide you after you reach the correct system; it is not a substitute for making the right contract active.
If the marker says the location is approximate, switch to the Analysis Visor’s Target Sweep and scan the surrounding area. Continue checking the mission text for the named destination or recipient. Do not treat the first marker you see as proof that the hand-in is complete; the objective must actually update.
If you no longer want an accepted contract
Be careful about abandoning it. The documented penalty for abandoning a delivery mission is a loss of 1 standing. If a listing does not suit you, inspect alternatives before accepting one; do not treat abandonment as a penalty-free way to cycle active contracts.
That penalty matters when you are close to a standing threshold. A single lost point can delay access to a higher tier, while repeatedly abandoning contracts can offset the gains from successful missions. If travel is inconvenient, compare the destination and reward on the board first and accept only work you can reasonably finish.
How can I earn better delivery-mission rewards?
Build standing with the faction or guild that commissions the work, then choose the best contract you can reliably finish. Hello Games’ Waypoint Update says mission-board rewards correlate more strongly with standing, with higher ranks earning better rewards.

- Progress the relevant standing. Successful missions and documented guild activities can help advance standing. Focus on the faction or guild connected to the kind of work you want, rather than assuming one standing track benefits every listing equally.
- Take the highest-rank contract you can complete consistently. Higher standing ranks improve reward quality, but a listing’s destination, objective and payout still matter. A difficult or inconvenient contract is not automatically the best choice for your situation.
- Compare the board instead of accepting the first offer. Guild-specific missions at higher levels can include rarer items or larger quantities of Units and Nanites. Those are possibilities, not guaranteed drops or fixed payouts; read each listing.

Do not buy or build courier equipment on the assumption it is necessary for a station-board delivery. The cited requirement applies to the separate deep-space package-courier activity. Likewise, do not assume that a courier mission uses the same reward table, standing rules or objective interface as a normal station contract until the game shows those details.

Accepting the first listing

Searching in the wrong system
A delivery marker can appear unhelpful when you have not reached the destination system named by the contract. Confirm the active mission and system name before using the compass or Target Sweep.
