The Fortnite April Fools quests covered here were part of the Chapter 6 Season 2 event on April 1, 2025. They expired on April 2, 2025, so this is a guide to the historical objectives—not a checklist you can complete now. The set had eight practical quests and one entry marked incompletable.

Fortnite April Fools quests: the 2025 objectives

The community-maintained quest record lists these objectives. A walkthrough published on April 1, 2025 also covers the practical tasks. The listed XP rewards are community-recorded, not confirmed here by an official Epic checklist.

Quest How to complete it Recorded reward
Place anything but first Finish a match in any placement other than first. 2,000 XP — Fortnite Wiki contributors, 2025.
Break open chests instead of searching them Break three chests rather than opening or searching them. 2,000 XP — Fortnite Wiki contributors, 2025.
Touch grass Travel across 60 units of grass. The available records do not establish the in-game unit label. 2,000 XP — Fortnite Wiki contributors, 2025.
Drive safely on the road for 100 meters Drive along a road for the listed distance. 2,000 XP — Fortnite Wiki contributors, 2025.
Land over here and over there Land at two locations. The record does not name specific locations. 2,000 XP — Fortnite Wiki contributors, 2025.
Find the coolest player on the Island This is an intentionally jokey objective. The record gives a one-count target but does not establish a method. 2,000 XP — Fortnite Wiki contributors, 2025.
Collect non-fish from fishing Use a fishing rod and collect an item other than a fish. No particular item or fishing spot is established. 2,000 XP — Fortnite Wiki contributors, 2025.
Survive seconds before collecting any weapons in a match Survive 120 seconds without picking up a weapon. 2,000 XP — Fortnite Wiki contributors, 2025.

The entry that could not be completed

The same quest record lists “Don’t read me, I’m not here” as incompletable. It is not a solvable objective to add to the practical checklist.

How the bonus XP was recorded

The community quest record lists a bonus of 10,000 XP at each threshold of one, three, and five completed April Fools quests. These are figures from Fortnite Wiki contributors’ 2025 record; an official Epic checklist confirming these exact rewards was not available in the cited material.

Can you still complete these quests?

No. This Chapter 6 Season 2 quest set was available on April 1, 2025, and its listing records an end time on April 2, 2025. Epic’s 2026 April Fools post describes a separate update with temporary gameplay effects and modes; it does not establish a replacement for this 2025 quest list.

Where to find Fortnite quests that are currently available

For active quests, Epic Support says to launch a Fortnite experience, open Quests from the lobby, and play to complete them. The quest list varies by experience. Epic notes, “Each quest has a reward, usually XP, level-ups, or cosmetic items.” See Epic’s quest instructions for the general process.
