Complete three main objectives—in any order—by investigating the Gestapo hotel, sabotaging the train, and finding the cargo documents, then reach one of the mission’s exfiltration points. Optional objectives and collectibles can be handled along the way or left for a replay.
What to do in Sonderzüge Sabotage
The main objectives are independent, so you do not have to follow a fixed sequence. This route follows a walkthrough’s default starting point: take nearby optional content first if you want it, investigate the hotel, sabotage the railyard train, search the station for the documents, and exfiltrate. A different starting point or route may change the order and directions.

1. Decide whether to tackle the nearby optional objective
Near the default starting area, the missing Resistance Cell objective and an assassination target are close together. The Resistance Cell is in a guarded building to the northeast. Tall grass provides cover for a stealth approach. You can skip these optional tasks and go straight to the three main objectives.
2. Investigate the Gestapo hotel
Approach from the southwest if the route is clear. A door on that side can be picked, or opened faster with Bolt Cutters. Nearby soldiers may reveal that the cellar holds a clue; listen in at close range or tag them with binoculars. Search both the cellar and the hotel’s top floor for mission clues.

The hotel is guarded, so watch patrols and stay stealthy where possible. If the southwest entrance is unsafe, use another way in rather than forcing that approach.
3. Sabotage the train in the railyard
A suggested approach is through the large building in the southeast, using its upper-floor route to reach the train area. Be careful around the tracks: a walkthrough warns that it is easy to get stuck there. Use ramps between open carriages to move through the area.

For the sabotage itself, approach the front carriage and plant a Satchel Charge. Additional charges are available in the area, including on a walkway above the train.
4. Find the cargo transportation documents
Head northwest from the train to the station. Enter the large station building, go upstairs, and search the small room for Classified Document #5, “Cargo Details.” Collecting it completes the cargo transportation documents objective. A Pistol Workbench is in a nearby building along the route.

5. Reach an exfiltration point
Once the three main objectives are complete, leave through any of the three exfiltration points. From the station, the northwest route is described as the fastest. Use cover on the way and watch for soldiers and passing vehicles, especially when crossing exposed roads.

Completing the mission with all optional objectives rewards the MAS 44, Non-Lethal Ammo, and Schu-Mine, according to the mission walkthrough. The mission has 19 collectibles: five Personal Letters, five Classified Documents, three Hidden Items, three Stone Eagles, and three Workbenches.

Personal Letters
- #1: In a safe at the crashed-truck restaurant across the river. Open it with a key or a Satchel Charge.
- #2: On a desk in a room reached from a third-floor balcony in the central building.
- #3: In the end room on the second floor of the optional-objective building.
- #4: On a bench upstairs in the station.
- #5: On a bench in the garden northeast of the central building.
Classified Documents
- #1: On the war table in the top-floor office of the hotel clue building.
- #2: At the hotel reception desk.
- #3: At the northern archway near the radio.
- #4: At the Kill List watchtower.
- #5, “Cargo Details”: In the small upper-floor room in the station; this is the document needed for the cargo objective.
Hidden Items
- Resistance Flag: In the first-floor radio room of the optional-objective building.
- Gestapo ID Badge: On a box beside Bolt Cutters on the bridge.
- Le Sniper: Outside the optional objective, on the starting side of the river. It is also the mission’s Propaganda Poster.
Stone Eagles
- On the building immediately left of the bottom-of-map starting point.
- On a domed building at the northern tip of the map.
- Above the clock on the cargo-document station building.
Workbenches
- Pistol Workbench: In the eastern trainyard area, upstairs in a building behind a cuttable gate.
- Rifle Workbench: On a side wall in the Kill List area across the river.
- SMG Workbench: Beyond a lockpickable gate by a fountain in the Old Town courtyard.
Collectibles are not missable: Push Square says you can reload missions after a first playthrough, and missed items can still be collected after completing the main objectives but before exfiltrating. Push Square’s collectibles guide provides the item-by-item locations.
