To earn the Week 5 reward in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Season 2, complete any five weekly challenges across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. The reward was the SOA Subverter Battle Rifle. This is a historical March 2024 challenge set; check the in-game Weekly Challenges tracker to confirm whether it is available to you and to see the exact objectives for your game.
How the Week 5 reward worked
Activision’s Season 2 announcement says players could choose challenges from Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone, with five completions unlocking the weekly reward. You did not need to complete five challenges in one mode. See Activision’s Season 2 overview for the official weekly-challenge rules.
The Week 5 reward was the SOA Subverter Battle Rifle. A March 6, 2024 GameSpot guide reported that successfully exfiltrating with the weapon in Zombies was an additional unlock method at that time. That report does not establish whether the route or the weekly challenges remain available now; use the current in-game tracker to check.
Week 5 Multiplayer challenges
- Get 15 Operator hipfire kills with a Recommended Battle Rifle set to Full Auto Fire Mode.
- Get 10 Operator Melee Backstab Kills.
- Get 15 Operator Quickscope Kills with the JAK Glassless Optic equipped to a Recommended Weapon.
- Get 15 Operator Longshot Kills with a Suppressed Recommended Battle Rifle.
- Get 20 Operator Kills with the Tyrant 762 Kit equipped to the Longbow.
- Get 20 Operator Kills with the JAK Maglift Mod equipped to the Haymaker.
- Get 20 Operator Double Kills with the Holger 556.
Published challenge lists differ on the Holger 556 objective: GameSpot specifies Double Kills, while Detonated lists kills without that qualifier. GameSpot also includes the suppressed Battle Rifle Longshot challenge, which is absent from Detonated’s list. Treat the in-game tracker as authoritative for the objective wording and count.

Week 5 Zombies challenges
- Get 50 Mercenary Soldier Kills with a Recommended Assault Rifle.
- Get 250 Critical Kills with a Recommended LMG.
- Get 250 ADS Kills with a Recommended SMG.
- Get 400 Kills with the Holger 556.
- Get 5 Rapid Kills 15 times with a Recommended Assault Rifle.
- Get 300 Kills with a Recommended LMG while Stamin-Up is Active.
- Get 500 Kills with a Recommended Shotgun at Epic (Purple) or Higher Rarity.
Week 5 Warzone challenges
- On Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the North Region: Gatehouse, Keep, or Terraces.
- On Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the East: Konni Outpost, Lighthouse, Pier, or Winery.
- In Warzone, place in the Top 10 five times.
- In Warzone, open 50 Loot Caches.
- On Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the West: Graveyard, Overlook, or Town.
- On Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator Kills in the South: Ground Zero.
- In Warzone, complete 15 Contracts.
Choosing five challenges to complete
Pick any five objectives across the three modes that fit the mode you play and the weapons or equipment you have available. The challenge lists establish the five-objective threshold, but do not establish which combination takes the least time, so there is no verified fastest set to recommend. Check the tracker as you play to confirm each challenge registers.

The SOA Subverter was the reward for completing five challenges in this Week 5 set. Separately, Activision said finishing all eight Season 2 weekly unlocks awarded the Rotten Inferno animated Mastery Weapon Camo; that was a season-wide reward, not the Week 5 reward.
