To connect your personal Roblox account to Discord, use Discord’s built-in Connections menu and select Roblox. If a Roblox community server asks you to verify or authorize a game afterward, that is a separate step controlled by the server or game developer.
Choose the connection you need
“Connect Discord to Roblox” can mean several different things:

For ordinary personal account linking, you do not need Bloxlink, RoVer, or another third-party bot.

Connect Roblox to Discord on desktop or in a browser
- Open Discord and click the gear icon beside your username.
- Open Connections.
- Click View More.
- Select the Roblox icon.
- Sign in to Roblox when prompted.
- Check the Roblox account shown. If it is wrong, select Change Account and sign in to the correct account.
- Select Continue, review the requested information, and select Continue again if shown.
- Choose Confirm and Give Access.
Discord should confirm that the Roblox account has been connected, and Roblox should then appear under User Settings → Connections. The exact surrounding labels can vary with Discord updates, but Connections is the important destination. See Discord’s official connection guide.

Connect Roblox to Discord on mobile
- Open the Discord mobile app.
- Tap your avatar in the bottom-right corner.
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right.
- Tap Connections.
- Tap Add in the top-right.
- Scroll to and select Roblox.
- Sign in to Roblox and confirm that the displayed account is correct.
- Tap Continue, review the requested access, and tap Confirm and Give Access.
Return to Connections and check that Roblox is listed among your active connections.
What the connection enables
The basic connection links one Roblox account to your Discord account and lets you manage or remove that connection later. It does not automatically connect every Roblox experience or every Discord server.
Discord’s Roblox Social SDK can provide additional features in selected Roblox games and their official Discord servers, including:

- Roblox game activity or Rich Presence;
- game invites;
- verified Discord roles;
- server participation controls; and
- other game-specific social features.
These features depend on the game developer’s implementation and availability. Connecting Roblox does not guarantee that every game will appear as a Discord activity. Discord describes the Social SDK as applying to supported games and selected official servers, not Roblox universally. Read the Discord Social SDK FAQ for the current limitations.

Authorize a specific Roblox game
Some eligible games use a two-step process:
- First link Roblox globally through Discord’s Connections menu.
- Join the game’s official Discord server.
- Follow the prompt to authorize that particular game.
- Review and approve the requested access.
- Return to the server and check whether the activity, role, invite, or restricted channel is now available.
This authorization applies to that game, not to every Roblox experience. Discord also states that an account can link only one Roblox account at a time for this integration. Third-party verification bots may have separate rules and limits.
Why a Roblox Discord server may still require verification
A server can use its own verification system even when your Discord account already has a Roblox connection. Server owners commonly use third-party services such as Bloxlink or RoVer to:
- assign a verified role;
- sync Roblox group ranks;
- restrict channels to members of a Roblox group;
- enforce account-age or membership requirements; and
- reduce duplicate or suspicious accounts.
Follow the instructions posted by the server’s official staff. You may need to run a verification command, authorize the bot, rejoin the server, or wait for the role update. A successful Discord–Roblox connection alone does not satisfy every server’s separate requirements.
Security checklist for verification
- Never send your Roblox password to a moderator, bot operator, or anyone in a Discord message.
- Do not enter credentials on an unfamiliar domain or download software offered as “verification.”
- Check the exact bot and website name. Bloxlink’s official service is at blox.link; RoVer’s official site is rover.link.
- Review the authorization page before approving it.
- Remember that a verification service may process Roblox and Discord profile information. Review the provider’s current privacy policy before using it.
Bloxlink is a third-party Roblox–Discord verification service, not Roblox software. Its Discord listing describes permissions that can include access to server members, roles, nicknames, and permission changes when granted by the server.

How to disconnect Roblox
To remove the platform connection, open Discord and go to User Settings → Connections, select Roblox, and use the available disconnect or remove option.
Game-specific Social SDK authorizations are separate. Discord indicates that individual games can be deauthorized from User Settings → Authorized Apps. Removing Roblox from Connections and deauthorizing a game are therefore different actions.

Roblox is not listed under Connections
- Update or restart Discord.
- Use the current desktop app or Discord in a browser.
- Open User Settings → Connections and check View More on desktop or Add on mobile.
- Sign out and back in if the list is incomplete.
- Try the other Discord client.
- If Roblox remains unavailable, contact Discord Support.
Do not assume an outage without checking Discord’s current service information.

Choose Change Account during authorization. If necessary, sign out of Roblox in the browser, restart the linking process, and verify the account name before selecting Confirm and Give Access.

The connection succeeds but I do not receive a server role
The server may require a separate Bloxlink, RoVer, or game authorization step. Follow the server’s verification instructions, run its required command, rejoin or refresh the server, and check whether you meet its group, account-age, or membership requirements.
Roblox does not appear as Discord Rich Presence
- Confirm Roblox appears under Discord Connections.
- Check Discord’s activity-sharing and privacy settings.
- Confirm that the specific game supports the relevant Discord integration.
- Check whether the feature works only inside that game’s official server.
- Complete any game-specific authorization prompt.
- Restart both Discord and Roblox.
A successful account link is not a guarantee of activity display.
The verification page asks for my Roblox password
Stop. Leave the page and do not provide the password. Legitimate authorization should take place through a recognizable Roblox or provider authorization flow, not through a request from a moderator or an unknown website. If you already entered your password on a suspicious page, change it through Roblox directly and review your account security.

If you are trying to add a Discord link to a Roblox game, group, asset, or profile page, that is a creator-side social-link feature rather than a personal account connection. Roblox’s creator documentation says eligibility includes age verification and a minimum age of 16, and the feature applies only to eligible Roblox pages. See Roblox’s social-link documentation.
For Discord server owners
Server owners do not need a paid product for a user’s basic Discord–Roblox connection. Bloxlink and RoVer are optional management tools for verification, role synchronization, group restrictions, and related automation. Compare each provider’s current free features, permissions, privacy terms, and pricing before installing it; purchasing a premium bot does not unlock Discord’s built-in Roblox connection.
