Crafting in ARC Raiders happens at the Workshop in Speranza. Bring materials back from a raid, extract with any blueprint you find, learn it at the Workshop, then use the appropriate station to make the item. To progress efficiently, prioritize station upgrades for the gear you actually plan to use—and check the live station menus for current costs and recipes.
Where crafting happens and which station to use
The Workshop in Speranza is the hub for crafting. Its stations divide recipes by item type, and station level determines which further recipes become available. These station roles are described in community references; confirm recipe availability in the current game menus.

How to turn a blueprint into a craftable recipe
Finding a blueprint is not enough: you must extract from the raid with it, then learn it in Speranza. The blueprint is consumed when learned at its relevant station, after which its recipe is available to craft. If you can, place a valuable blueprint in a Safe Pocket before continuing the raid; a failed extraction means you do not keep it as a learned recipe. The Workshop reference and ARC Raiders Hub both describe extraction as the step that secures a found blueprint.

- Put it in a Safe Pocket when practical, then extract successfully.
- Return to the Workshop in Speranza and use the relevant station to learn the blueprint.
- Open that station’s recipe list, check the required materials, and craft the item if you have them.
Where to look for blueprints
Use container type as a search clue, not a guarantee. The ARC Raiders Wiki blueprint guide associates these container families with item types:
- Raider Containers: weapons and gun parts.
- Medical Containers: medical recipes.
- Electrical Containers: utility recipes.
- Industrial Containers: explosives.
- Security Containers: augments.
Some blueprints may also be associated with quests, trials, ARC Surveyors, or specific map conditions. The same reference says rare and epic blueprint finds are more common during x2 Major Map Conditions, but that is not a guaranteed drop. Check the current map condition and available quest or trial rewards before planning a targeted run.
What to upgrade first and which materials to keep
Start with the station that supports your intended loadout. If your priority is a particular weapon, improve the station that unlocks its recipes; if you depend on healing, shields, or mobility tools, direct upgrades toward those categories instead. Station levels gate recipes, so an upgrade is useful when it opens something you expect to craft—not simply because the game offers it.
Before selling or recycling loot, compare it against both your next station upgrade and the materials needed for the craft you want. The CGN Workshop guide recommends tracking the current Workshop bottleneck and avoiding spending scarce materials just because an unlocked recipe is available.

An October 2025 guide, for example, listed a Tier 2 Osprey DMR for Metal Parts ×25 and Plastic Parts ×12, and a Tier 2 Tempest SMG for Metal Parts ×18 and Electronic Parts ×6. Those are dated examples, not verified live costs; use the ingredient list in your current station menu.

Frozen Trail was announced for October 8, 2026. In a September 24, 2026 report, GamesRadar+ described a research system in which items found in the world contain research points that players can spend to pursue selected research, including some blueprints. Executive producer Aleksander Grøndal said the system was intended to let players choose research rather than rely only on random blueprint drops. The report did not establish the final eligible blueprint list or research costs, so check the live game for those details.

A separate September 23, 2026 GamesRadar+ report described weapon amplification as a research-bench feature announced for 15 weapons. The reported examples included adding a scope to the Renegade, making the Burletta automatic, and giving the Rattler incendiary rounds. Amplification was described as a branching choice of modules that changes weapon behavior rather than simply adding inherent stats. These details were reported before release; verify the current roster, costs, and effects at the research bench in-game.

A practical crafting loop
- Before a raid, decide which weapon, gear, or utility item you want to work toward and note its station and materials.
- During the raid, prioritize useful salvage and search the container families associated with your target blueprint.
- Protect a blueprint in a Safe Pocket when possible, then extract successfully.
- At Speranza, learn the blueprint and check station recipes and upgrade requirements against your goal.
- Spend materials on the craft or station upgrade that removes your current bottleneck, rather than depleting scarce stock on lower-priority recipes.
