For the Fortnitemares 2024 toilet quest, hit a regular in-game toilet with your Pickaxe until it breaks; a weapon can also destroy it. That challenge is historical, not confirmed as currently available. Open Quests in the lobby of the Fortnite experience you’re playing to check what’s live.
How to destroy a toilet for the quest
- In the lobby, open Quests and check whether a toilet-destruction quest is available in your current Fortnite experience. Epic says quests vary by experience: How to complete Fortnite quests.
- If the quest is active, enter a match and find a regular toilet inside a building.
- Equip your in-game Pickaxe and hit the toilet until it is destroyed. The 2024 guide also reports that a weapon works, but firing may attract nearby players. Dexerto’s Fortnitemares 2024 guide.
Use a regular toilet, not a Port-A-Potty
The documented challenge called for ordinary toilets, including ones inside buildings and prison cells; Port-A-Potties were not the target. Dexerto.
