Craft a Tranq Bomb in Monster Hunter Wilds by combining one Sleep Herb with one Parashroom. To capture a monster, weaken it, catch it in a Shock Trap or Pitfall Trap, then use tranquilizer items while it is immobilized.

Combine these materials to make one Tranq Bomb:
- 1 Sleep Herb
- 1 Parashroom

Where to find Sleep Herbs and Parashrooms
Both ingredients appear in multiple areas, and you can gather both in the Scarlet Forest or Windward Plains.

How to craft a Tranq Bomb
- Open the crafting menu. You can access it from a tent or from the main menu during a hunt. To use materials stored in your item box, go to a tent; storage resources are not available from the field menu.
- Select Tranq Bomb. If you have at least one Sleep Herb and one Parashroom, craft the item from the menu.
- Consider enabling auto-craft. The game lets you set individual items to craft automatically when you gather the required materials. The official PlayStation starter guide covers menu access and auto-crafting.
How to use Tranq Bombs to capture a monster
- Weaken the monster. Continue fighting until it is ready to be captured.
- Place a trap. Use a Shock Trap or Pitfall Trap to immobilize it.
- Use tranquilizer items while it is trapped. Throw Tranq Bombs at the immobilized monster to complete the capture.
