To wear multiple accessories in Roblox on PC, use the Avatar Editor on the Roblox website. Equip items normally where possible, then select Advanced and enter the numeric Asset IDs of additional accessories. Roblox Support says the Advanced editor can add up to 10 items; that is not a guarantee of 10 items per category.
Open the correct Avatar Editor
- Sign in to Roblox in a desktop browser.
- Open the navigation menu and select Avatar.
- Make sure you are in the browser-based Avatar Editor, not Inventory, a Marketplace item page, the Roblox desktop game client, or an editor inside an individual experience.
The exact layout can change, but the relevant controls are part of Roblox’s website avatar-customization flow. Confusing Inventory with the Avatar Editor is a common reason that Advanced appears to be missing.

Equip accessories normally
For accessories in different categories, the ordinary method is usually enough:
- Open a category such as hair, hat, face, neck, shoulder, front, back, or waist.
- Find an owned item and select its icon. Roblox highlights the item when it is equipped.
- Repeat in other categories.
This works well until the interface reaches a category’s normal soft limit. For example, Roblox gives more than three hats as an example of a combination that requires Advanced. If selecting another item replaces one you already wear, use the method below instead of repeatedly clicking items.

Use Advanced to add more accessories
- In the Avatar Editor, open an applicable accessory category.
- Scroll to the bottom of the category area or page.
- Select Advanced, usually shown in the lower-right area.
- Enter the numeric Asset ID for each additional accessory.
- Add the items and check the avatar preview.
- Keep the combination only after confirming that the desired accessories appear correctly.
According to Roblox Support, Advanced can add up to 10 items. Treat this as a total Advanced-editor capacity rather than a separate allowance of 10 hats, 10 hairs, or 10 items in every category. Roblox does not provide a complete current category-by-category limit table in that support guidance.
How to find an accessory’s Asset ID
Open the accessory’s Roblox Marketplace page and look at its URL. The number in the URL is the Asset ID. For example:

https://www.roblox.com/catalog/62234425/Brown-HairIn this example, 62234425 is the Asset ID to enter in Advanced. Copy the number only—not the item name, URL slug, creator ID, game-pass ID, or the entire link. Roblox documents this method in its avatar-customization instructions.
Examples of combinations
- Use Advanced when a second hair or face accessory replaces the first.
- Combine hair with a hat, then add face, neck, shoulder, or back accessories.
- Use normal category selection for items that belong to separate categories and do not replace one another.
Successful equipping does not guarantee a perfect visual result. Accessories can overlap, clip through one another, hide each other, or fit differently depending on the avatar body.

Remove just one accessory
- Open Recent, where currently worn items often appear near the beginning, or open the accessory’s category.
- Find the highlighted item.
- Click it once to unequip it.
- Check the preview again.
This removes the selected accessory without requiring you to rebuild the entire avatar.
Fix common problems
Advanced is missing
- Return to the Roblox website’s Avatar page.
- Confirm you are not viewing Inventory or a Marketplace listing.
- Open the relevant accessory category and scroll all the way down.
- Use a desktop browser rather than a mobile-style interface or an in-game avatar editor.
If the page layout has changed, the control may be positioned differently, but it belongs to the browser Avatar Editor rather than Inventory.

The second accessory replaces the first
This generally means normal selection has reached a soft limit for that category. Open Advanced and add the second item using its Asset ID.

The Asset ID does not work
Check that:
- You copied the number from the correct accessory’s Marketplace URL.
- The entry contains numbers only.
- The asset is an avatar accessory, not an animation, bundle, game pass, or unrelated catalog item.
- The account owns the item or can otherwise use it.
- You have not exceeded the Advanced editor’s stated 10-item capacity.
The preview is blank or outdated
- Click Redraw beneath the avatar picture.
- Refresh the browser page.
- Reopen the Avatar Editor.
- Check the IDs again and remove one item if necessary.
Roblox specifically recommends Redraw when the avatar does not display correctly after an item is added or removed.

Accessories overlap or disappear
Test the combination one item at a time. An accessory may occupy the same visual space as another, be hidden by it, clip because of the avatar’s proportions, or fail to display until the preview redraws.

Roblox separates accessory types such as hair, face, neck, shoulder, front, back, and waist in its AvatarAssetType documentation. Layered clothing and other layered accessories behave differently: Roblox designs them to deform over compatible character bodies using inner and outer cages. See the layered-accessory specifications.
Therefore, the Advanced Asset ID method is the relevant solution for multiple hats, hairs, and face accessories, but it does not promise unlimited or identical combinations for shirts, jackets, pants, shoes, or other layered items. Category restrictions, body compatibility, and visual conflicts can still apply.
