Game8 lists Nourishing Extract as a target reward from several Guardian monsters, with chances that vary by rank. KURU, whose item entry identifies the MHDB Wilds API as its source and was updated 2026-09-30, independently lists the low-rank chances for Guardian Arkveld and Zoh Shia.

Choose a hunt without assuming one is fastest
The available reward tables do not establish which monster gives the most extracts per hour. As a practical comparison, look at the listed target-reward chance for an available hunt, your own clear time, and whether you also want that monster’s materials. That is a way to choose between options, not a tested efficiency ranking.

Investigations can be repeated up to three times, according to PlayStation’s general guide, which also recommends looking for guaranteed drops when farming rare resources. It does not identify a specific Nourishing Extract investigation, so check the investigation’s displayed rewards rather than assuming one is a dedicated farm.

Trade with Sekka in Suja
Game8 lists a trade of one Wyvernsprout for three Nourishing Extract, with a limit of two trades. Sekka’s stock rotates daily, so check the in-game trader for current availability; the listed exchange does not mean it will always be in stock when you visit.
Check quest and mission rewards
Kiranico lists five Nourishing Extract as a reward for “Purrfect Plundering” and three for “Full Circle.” Those database entries do not establish that either quest is currently available in every game version or at the time you play. Confirm the quest and its reward in the current in-game menu.

Game8 does not list Nourishing Extract as a carving, wound-reward, or broken-part reward. For the cited Guardian hunt route, focus on the quest’s target rewards and any listed exchange instead of spending time carving or breaking parts in the hope of getting it.
