It is weak to Light and resists Dark. Watch for its long Nevron Arm combos, build its Break Gauge with successful parries, then use the Broken opening to deal damage. For the Mortal Hit, guides describe both dodging and parrying as options; choose the defense whose timing you can read most reliably.

Look for the optional boss in Sadness Vale, in Visages. From the Sadness Vale flag, head left into the next area, according to the GameFAQs Chromatic Boss Location Guide.

Weakness and resistance
Game8 lists Light as Chromatic Ramasseur’s weakness and Dark as its resistance. Its guide lists no immunity or absorption. Favor Light damage when you have an opening, and avoid relying on Dark attacks for your main damage.
How to handle its attacks
Nevron Arm combo
The Nevron Arm sequence can deliver four hits, and a double version can deliver eight. Treat the sequence as a sustained defense check: watch the animation and continue responding through the full combo rather than assuming the first hit is the last. Mortal Hit
Guides describe Mortal Hit as lethal if it connects. Game8 recommends dodging as the easier option, while also noting that it can be parried. Another walkthrough discusses parrying as part of building Break. Read each extended Nevron Arm sequence and defend through all of its hits. For Mortal Hit, dodge if that is the more dependable timing for you; attempt a parry if you can read the wind-up confidently.

Use successful parries to fill the Break Gauge. When the boss is Broken, spend the opening on your strongest available Light damage.

Repeat the defensive rhythm instead of forcing attacks during long sequences. The parry-to-Break approach and Light-damage opening are also described by Neoseeker.
