Rocken Roller is an optional boss reported in Trinket Crevass Abandoned Auger Mine, in the Ruined Sumplands region of Carcadia Burn in Borderlands 4. The route is reported to unlock after the Crystal Brawl quest, and the key to the fight is breaking the Eridium crystals protecting the boss before its shield can be restored.

Game8 places Rocken Roller in Trinket Crevass Abandoned Auger Mine, within the Ruined Sumplands of Carcadia Burn. Its guide reports that the area becomes accessible after completing the Crystal Brawl quest from the Shadow of the Mountain main mission. Because no official publisher source confirms that gate, check the current in-game map and quest progression if the mine is not available.

Once inside the mine, follow the route to the boss arena. Game8 says Rocken Roller can be challenged again by paying at Moxxi’s Big Encore Machine near the arena entrance; the guide does not state a price.
How to beat Rocken Roller
- Break the Eridium crystals. Shoot the crystals on Rocken Roller’s back. Game8 and Neoseeker both describe them as the boss’s protection; removing them exposes it to damage.
- Clear the Vile Ordonites. Game8 says the boss can spawn these fragments, which restore its shield if left alive. Destroy them when they appear so you do not have to repeat the crystal-breaking step.
- Attack while it is exposed. Neoseeker recommends incendiary damage after the crystals are gone. This is a guide recommendation, not a guaranteed optimal damage type for every build or game update.
- Move out of the way of its attacks. Rocken Roller uses a rolling spin attack and throws rocks. Game8 recommends using higher rocks for protection from the roll and dodging the projectiles; keep space to move rather than staying in the boss’s path.
