To get the guitars and shakers in ARC Raiders, activate all 15 buttons in order on the Buried City map, then use the last button at the locked door north of Red Tower to open the reward room. Guides published in December 2025 report that the sequence must be completed in one raid: an incorrect button or leaving and re-entering the map resets progress.
Before you start the Buried City music puzzle
The Easter egg is associated with the Cold Snap update. Insider Gaming and Beebom describe the same 15-button sequence, but some of their room-level directions differ. Treat the landmarks below as a route checklist rather than a guarantee of the exact button position; the guides’ location images can help identify each spot.
- Complete the route in one raid. Beebom reports that progress resets if you leave and re-enter the map.
- Press the buttons in numbered order. The guides say activating one out of sequence resets the puzzle.
- Coordinate if you can. Insider Gaming recommends a coordinated run, and Beebom notes that party members can divide the locations. Other players may interfere with the sequence.
- No quest acceptance is required, according to Beebom.
These mechanics and locations are reported in guides published December 17–19, 2025. They have not been independently confirmed against an official October 2026 update.
All 15 button locations, in order
- Plaza Rosa: Go to the upper floor of the apartment building and check around the kitchen or cupboards. Insider Gaming places the button behind chairs.
- Galleria: Use the rooftop elevator shaft or zipline to reach the underground level, then look near the shelving.
- Warehouse: Climb onto the roof and search around the machinery or vents.
- Marano Park: Check the small shop or stall, near its shelves.
- Grandioso Apartments: Reach the upper floor of the south building, identified as B1 in the guides. Go onto the balcony, break back through a window, and search behind the couch.
- Piazza Arbusto: Climb the tower and inspect the exterior ledge or roof area.
- Bus near the Library: Search the abandoned bus north of the Library, between the Library and Su Durante Warehouses area.
- Town Hall / Corso da Vinci: Enter the red or damaged house and check the bedroom beside the bed.
- Buried Properties: Search the ruined eastern building near the generator or electrical equipment.
- Hospital: Look beneath the stairs near the ground-floor entrance.
- Abandoned Highway: Search the building or roof beneath the collapsed bridge section.
- Church Ruins: Climb onto the west-side, lower-left rooftops and look beside the chimney.
- Santa Maria Houses: Take the zipline to the attic and search near boxes and shelving.
- Tower near Piazza Roma: Inspect the nearly buried small tower between the Piazza Roma/Marano Station area and Warehouse.
- Hidden-room entrance north of Red Tower: Activate the final button at the locked door in the ground-floor building.
Insider Gaming and Beebom differ on a few precise room or entry-point descriptions. If a button is not where expected, use the named landmark and consult the guides’ images rather than assuming a disputed micro-location is definitive.

What is in the hidden room?
The guides report that the opened room contains playable in-game guitars and shakers. Beebom also lists recorders and other valuables. These are virtual rewards for the puzzle, not real-world instruments.
Can you complete the puzzle across multiple runs?
Beebom says no: leaving and re-entering Buried City resets progress. Plan to activate all 15 buttons in sequence and reach the final door during one raid.
