If you mean the compass direction, turn until the HUD’s N marker is centered.
Find North’s body at the Waste Processing Station
A third-party walkthrough for Hot on the Trail identifies the objective as “Take the key from North.” It places WPS northeast of Noontide base and describes this route:

- Travel northeast from Noontide to the Waste Processing Station.
- Cross the bridge to reach the station.
- Make your way up to the roof. The approach has hostile soldiers, so prepare supplies and use cover.
- Drop down toward the pipes and loot North’s body for the key ring.

Find north with the HUD compass
The compass is at the top of the HUD and shows the cardinal directions as N, S, E, and W. Turn until N is centered to face north. This is useful for orienting yourself, but it does not identify North’s body by itself. GSC Game World’s HUD guide is in Ukrainian.

Use the PDA map and compass together
The PDA map provides location context: it shows the Zone, explored areas, your position, quest markers, caches, and other important markers. Mark your destination on the map to make its marker visible on the compass while you travel. The map and compass are complementary tools, not competing navigation options.
- Open the PDA with P on keyboard or the controller’s View button.
- Open the map with M on keyboard.
- Check your position and quest markers on the map, then follow the destination marker on the compass.
