Find the official UNC football roster
- Open UNC Athletics’ 2026 Football Roster.
- Use the season selector on the page if you need a roster from a different year; make sure the selected season matches your question.
- Choose a player to open the linked bio for more information.
The roster lists player names, jersey numbers, positions, academic years, height and weight, hometowns, and schools. It is a season-wide player list, not a game lineup.

Look for game-specific lineup information
- Go to UNC’s 2026 Football Media Central page.
- Find the entry for the opponent and game date you care about, then open its linked Carolina Game Notes PDF.
- Check the PDF’s title and date to confirm you have the right matchup and that the notes are current for your purpose.
The index organizes game notes by opponent and date. At the time reflected by the official page, it listed the October 3 Notre Dame game and the upcoming October 10 Pitt game. For example, UNC’s Notre Dame game notes are dated September 29, 2026, for the October 3 matchup.

A roster shows who is listed on the team; a depth chart, when available, indicates lineup order or roles for a particular game. The official pages support using the roster for player details and game notes as the place to check matchup-specific information. They do not verify a permanent standalone depth-chart page, and not every game-notes PDF is confirmed to contain one.
