If Arknights: Endfield will not download, launch, or update on PC, first check which client you use: GRYPHLINK or Steam. They have separate download and update paths. Then verify Windows, hardware, storage, network, and current service notices before trying the symptom-specific fixes below.
Check whether you use GRYPHLINK or Steam
The fix depends on how you installed the game. GRYPHLINE’s January 20, 2026 pre-download notice directs standard PC-client users to GRYPHLINK. If you already have the launcher, open All Games, select Arknights: Endfield, and download from the game page. Older GRYPHLINK versions from previous tests cannot download the official release client; uninstall the old launcher and install the current version if that applies.
Steam is a separate route. GRYPHLINE’s September 15, 2026 Steam playtest notice says the Steam version can only be downloaded and updated through Steam, not GRYPHLINK. Install Steam updates from the game’s page in your Steam Library. That notice describes a limited-access playtest and warns that the build may have bugs, client issues, or service instability; check the live Steam listing and official notices for current availability before treating it as a general release.

Endfield won’t download on PC: check requirements and free space
GRYPHLINE lists Windows 10 64-bit or Windows 11 64-bit and DirectX 11.1 or later as requirements. Its January 20, 2026 PC requirements are:

The publisher specifies at least 50 GB of free space, plus an additional 40 GB for extracting files, and recommends an SSD. These are the requirements stated in the January 2026 notice; check current official announcements for changes. An SSD may help when storage speed or installation space is the issue, but it will not resolve a launcher, server, account, or graphics problem by itself.
Endfield update stuck or GRYPHLINK update error
First confirm that you are updating through the same platform you used to install the game. A Steam copy is updated in Steam, not GRYPHLINK. For the standard client, use the Endfield game page in GRYPHLINK. Then check that your connection is stable and that the game’s servers are available; GRYPHLINE’s support checklist recommends switching to a better network and checking server status.

If the client reports an error or stops progressing, use the general troubleshooting steps in order rather than jumping immediately to a reinstall:
- Confirm your PC meets the system requirements.
- Check your network connection and server status; try a more stable network if available.
- Force quit the game or launcher, then reopen it.
- Restart the PC and try again.
- If possible, log in on another device or platform, then switch back to the PC client.
- If the issue remains, reinstall the game through the correct platform.
GRYPHLINE presents these as troubleshooting checks, not guaranteed fixes. A stalled update alone does not establish that your network is the cause.

Endfield won’t launch: check for a matching known issue
If the client opens but the game fails to start, apply only guidance that matches the exact symptom. Check official notices for current service or client problems before changing drivers or replacing files.
Stuck at “Releasing Resources 0%”
GRYPHLINE documents this specific freeze after launching the PC client and downloading in-game update resources. Its official “Notice Regarding PC Client Freeze at ‘Releasing Resources 0%’ Stage” gives a targeted file replacement procedure:

- Download hgdownloadsdk.dll from GRYPHLINE’s launcher CDN.
- In the launcher, open Game Settings and locate the game’s root folder.
- Copy the downloaded file into that folder and overwrite the existing file with the same name.
- Launch the game again.
This instruction is for the “Releasing Resources 0%” freeze; it is not established as a fix for other launch or update errors. Use the publisher-hosted file, not a DLL from an unofficial mirror.
Blurry graphics or stuttering after NVIDIA App optimization
GRYPHLINE warns that enabling NVIDIA App optimization on an NVIDIA PC may cause blurry graphics or stuttering. If those symptoms began after optimization, follow the publisher’s NVIDIA App adjustment instructions and check for a current notice before changing other graphics settings.

Abnormal performance on specific NVIDIA drivers
In a March 16, 2026 notice, Hypergryph identified GeForce Game Ready drivers 595.79 and 595.71, and NVIDIA Studio driver 595.79, as potentially problematic. The notice suggested temporarily switching to DirectX 11 from the launcher or reinstalling an older driver through NVIDIA App. Driver advice is version-specific and can become outdated, so verify that the notice still applies to your installed driver and current game build before acting.

If the platform-specific steps and relevant symptom fix do not resolve the problem, contact GRYPHLINE through its official support routes and include the information requested for your client. For general PC crashes or other persistent issues, its support checklist asks for:
- Your Gryphline Account ID and Game ID.
- Crash logs from
C:UsersxxxAppDataLocalTempHypergryphEndfield. - Player and SDK logs from
C:UsersxxxAppDataLocalLowHypergryphEndfield. - Your device model and relevant specifications.
- A screenshot or video showing the problem.
For the Steam playtest, GRYPHLINE’s September 15, 2026 notice asks players to provide their UID, server, device specifications, issue description, and relevant screenshots or screen recordings. It lists in-game support at Settings > Platform & Account > Contact Customer Support and the email [email protected] for Steam client problems.
