The reply says the reported demo issue had been fixed by the time of the response, but the thread also says an update for that demo had not been released. It does not prove that the same defect exists in the October 8, 2026 full release, nor does it provide a current patch number or a setting to change.
- Reproduce the camera movement that causes the drop, if you can do so safely.
- Check whether the problem occurs in the released game or only in an old demo installation.
- Record the location, camera input, approximate duration of the drop, and whether the frame rate recovers without restarting.
- Compare that description with current developer announcements before assuming the historical demo reply applies.
If the event is repeatable in the full game, report it as a current reproduction and identify that it resembles the earlier demo report. Similar symptoms are useful context, not proof that the underlying code is unchanged.

Use this only if you are at the described glaive-and-switch sequence. Throw the glaive directly instead of using the boomerang-style action to hit the switch, then observe whether the slowdown is avoided. This is a scenario-specific demo workaround, not a general treatment for stuttering, warps, camera movement, or low frame rates elsewhere.

The current Steam listing says that Xbox and PlayStation controllers are fully supported and that the developers recommend a controller. Those statements describe intended input support; they do not mean that purchasing a controller will repair a detection fault, duplicated inputs, or a missing remapping option.

Classify the controller symptom
- Not detected: the game shows keyboard prompts or no input after the controller is connected.
- Wrong or duplicated input: one press activates two actions, an axis moves by itself, or prompts switch unexpectedly.
- Remapping limitation: the controller works, but the game does not offer the binding you need or does not retain a changed binding.
- Steam Input interaction: the behavior changes depending on the input layer used by your Steam setup.
Document which category applies before changing settings. Include the controller family (Xbox or PlayStation), whether it is wired or wireless, the exact menu where input stops or duplicates, and whether keyboard and mouse input continue to work. Also note whether the game displays controller prompts at the main menu and in gameplay.

What the demo discussions establish
Demo players raised concerns about remapping and Steam Input. A developer said full-game remapping was planned and acknowledged the Steam Input concern. The reviewed discussion does not verify how the released build behaves, whether every binding is remappable, or whether a current Steam Input configuration is required.
