1. Run the Activation troubleshooter
- Open Start > Settings > System > Troubleshoot.
- Select the activation troubleshooter option.
- Follow the prompts and allow the check to complete.
Administrator access is required. Microsoft indicates that the Troubleshoot option appears only while Windows is not activated, so it may not be visible on an already activated installation.
