The first response is deliberately simple and is the procedure recommended by Forza Support. It gives the game a clean launch and another opportunity to reconcile the local and cloud profiles.

After verification, close FH4 through its normal quit command so the latest state has a chance to upload. Keep the PC wgs backup for a while instead of deleting it immediately.
