If Maneki Mania is not showing new koban, a fortune-meter result, an unlock, offline earnings, or a paid item, first identify which type of data is missing. Machines continue earning while the game is closed for up to eight hours. The return payout is consequently delayed by design, and time beyond that cap should not be counted as additional offline income. A payout that arrives only after reopening is not, by itself, evidence of a failed save or a broken synchronization service.
The release state also matters. Steam lists Windows, macOS, and Linux support and full controller support. The developer’s dated plan lists a free demo on 19 October 2026, Early Access on 3 December 2026, version 1.0 on 4 February 2027, and a listed price of $4.99. Those dates describe the developer’s plan and can change; the build installed on your platform is the authority for the behavior you are seeing. Mouse and keyboard are supported, so a controller is optional when troubleshooting input or menus.

Follow this safe recovery sequence
1. Preserve the current state
Before deleting, reinstalling, changing accounts, or making another purchase, capture the affected screen. Note whether the game was open or closed when the event occurred. 2. Refresh the session while connected
- Connect the device to a reliable network.
- Exit Maneki Mania completely rather than leaving it suspended in the background.
- On Android, use the system app settings to force-stop it; on other platforms, use the normal quit command and ensure the process has closed.
- Launch the game again and wait until loading and any return-from-offline calculation finish.
- Open the exact progression, reward, or purchase screen and check the value again.
Google’s purchase guidance specifically recommends checking connectivity and force-stopping then reopening an app when an in-app item has not appeared. The same low-risk refresh is appropriate for a counter that may not have redrawn after a completed event.
3. Update the build and verify the account context
Use your platform store’s update control and confirm that no download is pending. Record the version after updating. Then check that the same store account used for the game or purchase is active; switching accounts can make an entitlement or save appear absent without deleting it.
During the demo and Early Access cycle, a version mismatch or platform-specific defect is plausible. Steam’s Early Access FAQ says the developers are collecting reports about bugs and platform compatibility. If the problem began immediately after an update, include both the old and new version numbers in your report instead of repeatedly reinstalling.

4. Account for the eight-hour offline-income cap
Close the game, record the time, and reopen it after the period you expected machines to earn. The documented rule is earning while closed for up to eight hours. If you left the game closed longer, compare the payout with eight hours, not with the full elapsed period. If no payout appears at all after a connected relaunch, record the close and reopen times and continue to the escalation step.
5. Check the relevant progression screen
For a fortune-meter result, inspect the meter and its result history or next available action if the build provides one. For a charm, talent, shrine rank, charm slot, or upgrade-tree node, open that system directly and check whether the unlock is visible there. A reward can be applied to its destination system without changing koban or another headline number. Do not spend currency again solely because a summary screen did not refresh.
Restore a missing purchase without buying it twice
First confirm that the transaction is marked complete by the store. A pending, canceled, or declined order is not an entitlement that the game can restore. If the charge is complete but the item is absent, use the platform procedure below and keep the receipt for the developer.

Apple devices
- Sign in to the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
- Open Maneki Mania and use its in-game restore option, if the current build provides one.
- Wait for the restore check to finish, then reopen the relevant entitlement screen.
- If an eligible non-consumable item still does not appear, restart the device and try the restore option once more.
- Contact the developer with the receipt if the item remains missing.
Apple distinguishes restorable non-consumables from consumables. Game currency and other consumable items generally cannot be restored through the normal restore-purchases mechanism. A completed charge for a consumable that never arrived therefore needs developer investigation rather than repeated restore attempts.
Google Play devices
- Open Google Play order history and confirm that the transaction is complete under the Google account currently used on the device.
- Check the network connection.
- Force-stop Maneki Mania, reopen it, and allow the purchase check to complete.
- Restart the device if the item is still absent.
- Ensure automatic date, time, and time-zone settings are enabled; incorrect clock data can interfere with transaction verification.
- If the completed purchase is still undelivered, contact the game developer with the order information.
Do not make a second purchase as a test. It can create a second charge while leaving the original delivery problem unresolved.

If the game offers no restore button
The absence of a visible restore control is not proof that the purchase is lost. Confirm the store order first, then use the game’s official support or community route with the platform, version, account context, item name, transaction time, and receipt. Do not assume that an Apple restoration flow applies to a Steam or Google Play entitlement, or that a mobile purchase transfers to another platform.

When the save looks reset
Several facts about Maneki Mania are not confirmed publicly: cloud-save behavior, cross-device progression, a guaranteed reward-synchronization interval, the Android purchase model, and a title-specific reset procedure. Because those points are unknown, do not promise that a reinstall, cache clear, or account change will recover local progress.
- Leave the current installation intact while you document the last known good state.
- Check the installed version and the active store account before launching on another device.
- Do not clear app data or remove local files unless the developer gives a recovery instruction that explains what will be preserved.
- If progress returns on one device but not another, treat that as evidence to report, not proof that cross-device sync is supported.
- Include whether the apparent reset followed an update, crash, offline session, account switch, or device change.
A missing local save and a missing online entitlement are different cases. A store can confirm a paid order, but it cannot necessarily reconstruct game progress that was stored locally. Only the developer can state what data the current build retains and whether a recovery path exists.
Escalate with a report the developers can act on
No dedicated Maneki Mania support email or save-recovery article was identified. - Local time and date, including time zone, plus whether the game was open or closed.

Describe what you already tried—connected relaunch, update, account check, offline-cap check, and platform restoration—so the report does not get routed through the same steps again. Treat any forum claim about those features as anecdotal unless the developer confirms it for your build.
Because Maneki Mania is moving through a demo and Early Access release cycle, fixes and UI labels can change. Quote the label and version you actually see when asking for help; a solution written for a later build may not match an earlier demo, and a behavior that changes after an update is valuable bug information rather than evidence that your account caused the problem.
