Check the network and system update
- Open the Xbox network settings and run the console’s network connection test.
- Check for a prompted Xbox system update and install it if one is available.

Fully turn off and restart the console
- Use the normal Xbox restart option first.
- If that does not help, hold the console’s power button for more than 10 seconds to turn it off, then start it again.

Reinstall the game only if the simpler steps fail

Do not delete local save data as an early fix
Deleting local save data is more disruptive than restarting or reinstalling. A separate Microsoft Flight Simulator support guide describes deleting a local save and resynchronizing from the cloud in a corruption scenario. That is guidance for a different game, not a verified remedy for Rightfully, Beary Arms.

Do not delete local data unless Xbox or the game’s support team advises it and you understand the cloud-sync implications. A local save that has not synchronized may not be recoverable from the cloud.
What the available patch history does—and does not—show
SteamDB lists a February 5, 2026 version 1.0.0 hotfix for PC that addressed a controller-related blue-screen hard lock and a new-game/tutorial loop that prevented saving. That page does not establish that the fixes applied to the Xbox build, concern the crash you are seeing, or represent the latest version. Do not treat the PC patch notes as confirmation of an Xbox fix.
