- Whether the message appeared during a console system update, a new game installation, an update to an installed title, DLC access, sign-in, or another online action.
- The exact game or app name, edition (standard, deluxe, bundle, or disc-based), and whether the base game is visible.
- Which Microsoft account is signed in and whether other downloads work on that account.
- Whether the item is shown in the queue, under Ready to install, or nowhere in My games & apps.
- Any network-test result and the approximate time of the failure.

- Open My games & apps.
- Select Full library or the library view that contains Ready to install.
- Filter or search for the game by name. Include alternate editions if the title has separate standard, deluxe, or bundle entries.
- Select the owned item and choose Install.
If the game appears there, the license is associated with the signed-in account even though the local installation is absent. Let the installation finish before launching it or applying DLC.
Verify the owning account
Sign out and confirm that the account which purchased or redeemed the game is the one currently active. A different family member’s account may be able to play a title through console sharing but may not display the same ownership library when used elsewhere. Check the home Xbox designation

How can I restore missing DLC or an Xbox One add-on?

Do Windows Xbox-app commands fix an Xbox One console?
No. Search results often combine Xbox One instructions with fixes for the Xbox app or Microsoft Store on a Windows PC. PowerShell commands that remove and reinstall Gaming Services, System File Checker (SFC) or DISM commands, wsreset, Windows Store repair, and desktop-app resets run on Windows and do not run on an Xbox One console.
