Use the official LoL Esports schedule as your source of truth: select the Worlds event, check the dated match entries and series format, expand completed matches for scores, and revisit the page on match day because times, pairings, and stage status can change. For proactive reminders, add an independent alert app such as OP.GG Esports or ScheduLoL, then verify every notification against the official schedule.
Where to find the live Worlds schedule
The LoL Esports schedule is the primary place to check Worlds fixtures and results. The event-filtered view separates international matches from regional league calendars and presents the information needed to decide whether to watch now or plan for later.

What the Worlds-filtered view shows
- Upcoming and completed match entries arranged by date.
- The participating teams for each series.
- The competition stage, including the Play-Ins and Swiss entries currently shown for Worlds.
- The series format, such as Bo1, Bo3, or Bo5.
- Scores and result information after a series is completed.
Riot Games’ competitive-operations information describes the League of Legends World Championship as “the pinnacle of LoL Esports.” For 2026, it identifies a USA-hosted event with 17 teams competing for the world champion title. The official schedule currently places the event from October 15 through November 14, 2026. Those dates describe the published event window, not a guarantee that every individual start time will remain unchanged.

How to check an upcoming Worlds match
- Open the official schedule. Go to lolesports.com and open the schedule view.
- Apply the Worlds filter. Select the Worlds event so regional league fixtures do not crowd the page.
- Find the date. Scroll to the relevant day and identify the entry for the team or stage you want to follow.
- Read the start time and timezone. Treat the displayed time as the page’s stated time, then convert it to your local timezone before setting a personal reminder.
- Confirm the teams and stage. Check both team names and the stage label; a team can appear on multiple days, and a stage label tells you where the match sits in the event.
- Check the format. Bo1 means one game decides the series, while Bo3 and Bo5 allow multiple games and therefore require a larger viewing window.
- Reopen the entry on match day. Use the live page immediately before the scheduled start because pairings, times, and stage status are volatile.
Do not rely on a calendar event created days earlier without checking it. A calendar reminder can preserve your original conversion even after the live listing changes.
How to read a Worlds schedule entry
Date and start time
The date tells you when the series is listed to begin, not when the preceding series will finish. If matches run consecutively, the actual start can move later. On a match day, check the entry again instead of assuming that the published time is a fixed broadcast minute.
Teams
Verify both teams before you share a reminder or prediction. The event page can contain several series on one date, and a team filter or browser search may land on a different entry than the one you intended.
Stage
The stage identifies the part of Worlds in which the series is played. The current Worlds-filtered schedule exposes Play-Ins and Swiss matches among its upcoming entries. A stage label is useful when you are tracking qualification or advancement rather than only a team’s next game.
Series format
| Format shown | What it tells you | Planning implication |
|---|---|---|
| Bo1 | The series is decided in one game. | A single game is the complete series window. |
| Bo3 | The series can require multiple games. | Allow more time than the first-game start alone suggests. |
| Bo5 | The series can run through five games. | Reserve the longest viewing window of the three formats. |
The format describes the series structure; it does not predict the exact runtime. Drafts, pauses, and game length can all affect when the next game begins.

How to check today’s Worlds results
- Open the Worlds-filtered schedule and navigate to today’s date in your local calendar.
- Separate entries that are still upcoming from entries that have finished. Do not treat a listed start time as a result.
- Expand the completed entry to reveal the score and winner information.
- Check the stage and format alongside the score so you know which series the result belongs to.
- If the match is listed as completed but a score is not visible, refresh the page and check the official entry again rather than copying an unverified score from a social post.
“Today” is timezone-dependent. A match listed for October 20 in the event’s displayed timezone may be October 19 for you, so first identify your local date and then inspect the corresponding schedule entries. When a series crosses midnight locally, keep the official date and your local date separate in your notes.
Why the schedule can change
Match times, team pairings, results, and stage status can change quickly. A delayed previous series, a production pause, or an operational rescheduling can make an older time inaccurate. The official page is designed to show the current listing, while a screenshot or copied calendar entry is a historical snapshot.
- Before the event day: use the schedule to plan, but avoid treating the displayed time as immutable.
- On match day: revisit the entry shortly before the expected start.
- After the series: expand the completed entry and confirm the score before posting a result.
- When sources disagree: give the official LoL Esports entry priority over an independent app, fan account, or search result.
How to convert Worlds times to your timezone
Start with the timezone indicated by the schedule interface or your browser’s localized display. Then convert the date and time together, not the clock time alone. A conversion can move a match to the previous or next calendar day.
- Write down the displayed date and start time exactly.
- Identify the source timezone shown by the page or your localized schedule view.
- Convert both the date and time to your local zone, accounting for daylight-saving rules where they apply.
- Record the converted time in your calendar with the teams, stage, and format.
- Add a second reminder for a few minutes before the expected start, then check the live schedule again.
If your device changes timezone while travelling, review saved calendar events. The official page remains the authoritative reference for the current listing.
How to get notifications when your team plays
The official schedule is the verification source, but independent services can provide push reminders that a static web page may not. Two examples documented for Worlds-following are OP.GG Esports and ScheduLoL. Neither should be treated as automatically endorsed by Riot Games.

OP.GG Esports
OP.GG’s esports apps page advertises notifications for a favorite team’s matches and says push notifications can be set for each match. That makes it suitable when you want a team-centered alert rather than a complete event calendar.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Install the OP.GG esports app available for your device and open its esports schedule area.
- Select the team you want to follow.
- Enable push notifications for the individual matches you care about.
- Allow notification permission in your phone’s operating-system settings if the prompt appears.
- When an alert arrives, open the official LoL Esports schedule and confirm the time, pairing, and stage before relying on it.
The service’s own page states that it is not endorsed by Riot Games. Use it as a convenience layer, not as proof that a fixture has not moved.
ScheduLoL
The ScheduLoL Google Play listing describes real-time schedules for major leagues, links to official Twitch and YouTube broadcasts, and match reminders that can send a push notification before a game starts. This is useful if you follow Worlds alongside regional competitions or want a reminder connected to a viewing link.
- Install ScheduLoL from Google Play and open its schedule.
- Find Worlds or the team you want to monitor.
- Turn on the available match-reminder setting for the relevant fixture.
- Grant Android notification permission and check that battery-saving settings are not suppressing alerts.
- Use any Twitch or YouTube link supplied by the listing to reach the official broadcast, then verify the match against the live LoL Esports page.
ScheduLoL’s listing explicitly calls the application unofficial and says it is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Riot Games.
Notification choices and trade-offs
| Option | Authority and coverage | Alert or viewing feature | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| LoL Esports schedule | Official Riot source; Worlds-filtered fixtures and results | Live page for checking entries, scores, stages, and formats | Recheck manually on match day |
| OP.GG Esports | Independent esports service focused on favorite teams | Push notifications can be set for each match | The service says it is not endorsed by Riot Games |
| ScheduLoL | Unofficial app covering major leagues | Match reminders and links to official Twitch and YouTube broadcasts | The listing says it is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Riot Games |
Choose an independent app for convenience, especially if you need push alerts. Choose the official page for the final decision about whether a match is still scheduled, which teams are playing, and what the score is.

How to watch after you confirm the fixture
First verify the match on the official schedule, then use the viewing link available in your chosen service or the event’s official broadcast channels. ScheduLoL’s listing points to official Twitch and YouTube broadcasts, but availability can vary by region and platform. A link shown in an app is not a guarantee that the stream is licensed or accessible everywhere; check the channel and territory before the start.
For a reliable routine, open the schedule, confirm the entry, open the official broadcast, and keep the schedule tab available so you can check a delay or result without switching to an unverified source.

The Worlds event is hard to find
Regional leagues can make the schedule appear crowded. Return to the event selector and choose Worlds rather than browsing the unfiltered calendar. If you are using a saved browser tab from an earlier event, reload it and select the current Worlds listing.
The time in an app differs from the official page
Compare the date, timezone, and match entry rather than only the clock value. If the app has not reflected a change, follow the official LoL Esports time and create a new reminder manually.

The score is missing after the match ends
Refresh the official schedule, open the completed entry, and check again after the listing updates. Avoid publishing a score based only on a push notification or a third-party summary.
No push notification arrived
Check that notifications are enabled for the app, the specific match reminder is active, and the phone’s battery or background-data settings are not restricting the app. Also verify that the match still exists at the expected time on the official schedule; a changed fixture may invalidate an earlier reminder.
A broadcast link does not work
Use the official Twitch or YouTube channel link supplied by the service, check your region’s availability, and return to the schedule to confirm that the series has not been delayed. Do not infer that a broken third-party link means the match was cancelled.
A practical Worlds tracking routine
At the start of the week
- Open the Worlds-filtered official schedule.
- Note the dates, teams, stages, and formats that matter to you.
- Convert the listed times to your local timezone and add calendar entries.
- Set favorite-team or per-match alerts in an independent app if you need push reminders.
On each match day
- Check the official page again before the first series you plan to watch.
- Confirm that the team pairing, stage, format, and start time still match your calendar.
- Open the official broadcast channel and keep the schedule available for updates.
- After completion, expand the entry and record the official score.
When following several teams
Use the Worlds filter for the event-wide view and an independent favorite-team alert for personal reminders. This combination avoids the opposite problems of a broad calendar that hides the match you want and a narrow alert feed that omits a stage change or rescheduled opponent.
