Enchant five wearable items with 20% Chameleon each to reach 100%. The Remastered guide’s route requires access to the Arcane University’s enchanting facilities and one filled Grand Soul Gem for each enchantment. You can also use the Ring of Khajiiti, which grants 35% Chameleon, as part of your equipped setup.

Report to Raminus Polus at the Arcane University. This grants access to the grounds, where the Chironasium houses the Spellmaking Altar, according to the Remastered enchanting guide.

Gather five wearable items. The guide suggests clothing or jewelry, including a hood, robe, gloves, rings, or an amulet.

Bring a filled Grand Soul Gem for each enchantment. At the Chironasium, place a 20% Chameleon enchantment on each of the five items. The guide describes this as its repeatable equipment recipe; five effects of 20% add up to 100%.

Equip all five enchanted items and check that their combined Chameleon effect reaches 100%.

Use the Ring of Khajiiti as an alternative contribution
The Ring of Khajiiti grants 35% Chameleon and 10 points of Fortify Speed. A Remastered artifact guide says it is the reward for Meridia’s quest, available after level 10: Daedric Artifacts. Its Chameleon effect can count toward the total, reducing the amount you need from other equipped items. The source does not establish every possible item combination, so treat five 20% enchantments as the fully specified route rather than assuming a particular optimized mix with the ring.

The original Oblivion PC manual says Chameleon ranges from 1% to 100%, with 100% equivalent to invisibility. Unlike Invisibility, Chameleon does not end when you attack or use objects. Other characters may still hear you, so being unseen does not make you inaudible.

The manual distinguishes Invisibility: attacking, speaking, or activating items such as doors dispels that effect. Its behavior description is for the original game, not a Remastered-specific mechanics reference; the equipment recipe and access steps above are described by a guide updated for Remastered.
