The most sustainable way to build a large coin balance in Sneaky Sasquatch is to invest in the Island Campground and Spaghetti Hotline, then collect their income as you continue playing. If you are not far enough along to unlock them, combine jobs and other repeatable activities with one-time rewards, selling spare food, fishing, and foraging. The right route depends on your progress and whether you want to spend time earning actively or build toward passive income.

Best money-making approach by progression

Early game: build starter funds

Take any jobs you have unlocked, sell spare food or fish, and claim one-time rewards that are within reach. Pocket Gamer’s 2022 guide describes food sales, the R Corp job, and fishing as ways to earn coins, while the game overview also lists jobs, port activities, fishing, and foraging. Those sources do not establish a current, apples-to-apples payout ranking, so use them as options rather than guaranteed fastest methods. Pocket Gamer’s money guide and the game overview provide broader context.

One-time rewards can help pay for later investments, but they run out. The community-maintained Making Money guide lists rewards for activities such as the Money Hotline, first competition wins, fish submissions, photo requests, mushroom discoveries, caches, and dig spots. For example, it lists 600 coins for the Money Hotline. Treat these as reported guide figures, not official or independently verified current payouts.

Established save: build passive income

Once the required progression and setup funds are available, the community guide recommends investing in the Island Campground and Spaghetti Hotline. These require upfront resources and upgrades, but the guide describes them as ongoing income sources that let you earn while doing other activities.

Passive businesses: costs and reported income

The figures below are reported by the community-maintained wiki, not independently verified measurements. They can change with updates, progression, upgrades, occupancy, advertising, and how often you visit or restock.

Business or figure Guide-reported amount What it means
Island Campground investment 4,500 coins and 575 lumber Reported total investment to establish the campground.
Fully upgraded campground 125 coins per occupied tent per night Income depends on tents being occupied.
Spaghetti Hotline investment 7,650 coins Reported total investment for the business.
Fully upgraded Hotline with billboard advertising 350 coins per in-game day Reported daily income before the recurring billboard expense.
Example combined routine 683.3 coins net per in-game day The guide’s example combines 375 campground income and 350 Hotline income, then subtracts billboard rent and estimated personal food cost. It is an example, not a guaranteed payout.

These figures are useful for understanding the trade-off: passive businesses can provide a recurring return, but first require investment and attention to their operating conditions. In particular, campground income depends on occupied tents, while the Hotline figure cited above assumes billboard advertising and does not include its expense.

Active ways to earn while you play

If you would rather earn through activities than wait for business income, choose repeatable options that are unlocked in your save. The community guide and game overview describe a mix of jobs, foraging, competitions, ferry captain work, and port activities. You can also sell fish or food when you have extras. The best fit is the activity you can access and repeat comfortably; the sources do not support a universal earnings-per-real-minute winner.

  • Jobs and port work: Take available work as you progress. Port heists may offer a larger haul, but the guide says they trigger a lockdown period, so they are not risk-free or continuously repeatable.
  • Mushrooms and foraging: Gather what you find and sell it; mushroom discoveries may also have one-time rewards listed by the guide.
  • Competitions: A first win can pay out, but do not count the first-win reward as a recurring income stream.
  • Fishing and food sales: Sell surplus catches or food rather than assuming every activity has a fixed current payout.

Should you use a sleep-and-collect routine?

The community guide describes fast-traveling and sleeping repeatedly to advance in-game days and collect passive income. This is an optional, repetitive routine, not a guaranteed shortcut: it depends on having the businesses set up, the campground receiving visitors, and enough food for the player. The guide’s example calculations may also be affected by game updates. If you use it, make sure the businesses are functioning before relying on future-day income.

How to choose a route

Use your current save state to decide what to prioritize:

  • Need coins now: Claim accessible one-time rewards and sell spare food or fish while doing available jobs.
  • Have the unlocks and capital: Compare the campground’s material and coin cost with the Hotline’s investment, and account for occupancy, upgrades, and advertising expenses.
  • Prefer active play: Rotate among the repeatable jobs and activities you enjoy, choosing based on what is unlocked rather than chasing an unsupported universal ranking.
  • Already own the businesses: Keep them operating and collect income as part of normal progression; use sleeping to advance days only if that routine suits you.

Specific earnings and mechanics here come mainly from a community-maintained wiki, and Pocket Gamer’s broad guide dates to 2022. No official source cited here validates the precise amounts, so check in-game behavior if an update or your save’s progression produces different results.
