Bronze Celebration Tokens were limited-time anniversary currency, not a current farming currency. Players earned them from quests and activities during WoW’s 20th Anniversary event, which ended January 6, 2025, and spent them at event vendors. Blizzard said remaining tokens would convert to Timewarped Badges in the Undermine(d) update. A later anniversary also used Bronze Celebration Tokens, but that does not establish a way to earn or spend them now.
Are Bronze Celebration Tokens available now?
As of October 2026, the available official event information does not establish a current way to earn or spend Bronze Celebration Tokens. The 20th Anniversary event ran from October 22, 2024, through January 6, 2025, and has ended. Blizzard’s support forum stated that leftover tokens would be converted into Timewarped Badges at a rate of 20 badges per token in the Undermine(d) update. Blizzard’s event notes list the dates; the Blizzard-hosted support reply describes the conversion.
Blizzard also described Bronze Celebration Tokens as an earning currency during the 21st Anniversary event. That event is also past, and its announcement does not confirm current token availability in October 2026. The 21st Anniversary announcement lists Timewarped Badges for its rewards vendor.
How players earned tokens during the 20th Anniversary
Start the anniversary quest
The 20th Anniversary celebration hub was in Tanaris, outside the Caverns of Time. The event was open to players level 10 and up. The introductory quest was “Another Timely Invitation”; Blizzard’s launch post directed players to speak with Yllana at the celebration to begin. These were event-era directions and should not be treated as a route to an active token source now. Blizzard’s event launch post has the original details.

Complete event quests and activities
During the event, quests and activities awarded tokens. Blizzard’s shopping guide described earning 1–3 Bronze Celebration Tokens per activity over the event’s weekly earning cycle, with activity completions tracked across the Warband. The amount and activities were specific to that event, not a permanent farming rate. Blizzard’s shopping guide explains the historic earning system.
The same guide described a 100-token achievement that unlocked additional earning opportunities during the 20th Anniversary event. Since that event ended, this threshold is historical context rather than an actionable route.
How tokens were spent
Bronze Celebration Tokens were spent on event rewards from anniversary vendors. Historian Ma’di’s inventory included the Coldflame Ring toy, Coldflame appearance rewards, and the 20th Anniversary Balloon Chest. Storekeeper Reginald offered returning anniversary collectibles, including pets and mounts. Blizzard’s shopping guide lists historical items and event-era prices; those prices should not be read as current offers.
The guide also described progressive discounts for Tier 2 appearance sets. This was part of the 20th Anniversary reward structure and does not establish that the vendors or discounts remain accessible.

What the 21st Anniversary changed—and what it did not establish
Blizzard’s 2025 announcement again described earning 1–3 Bronze Celebration Tokens per activity during the 21st Anniversary event. It separately identified Timewarped Badges as the currency for that anniversary’s rewards vendor. This documents token use at another past event, but does not show that Bronze Celebration Tokens can be earned, spent, or converted through a currently running event in October 2026. Read Blizzard’s 21st Anniversary announcement for the event-era details.
