Choose the Dragon Ball set for the dragon you want
The three sets are separate: regular Dragon Balls summon Shenron, Namekian Dragon Balls summon Porunga, and Super Dragon Balls summon Super Shenron. Collecting one type does not substitute for another. The acquisition routes below are reported in third-party guides; check the live game’s reward list and menu for your version before spending a set.

Get regular Dragon Balls
Claim the one-time Whis’s Stamp Book rewards
PowerPyx’s October 9, 2024 guide says to complete Shenron challenges in Whis’s Stamp Book, claim their rewards there, then redeem them in Zen-Oh’s Orders. The guide describes this as a one-time opportunity, not a farm that respawns. If the challenges remain available on your save, claim them before grinding matches.
Farm with offline P1-versus-CPU wins
- Open Battle & Training.
- Select Battle → Offline → P1 vs. CPU.
- Choose a one-versus-one match and win. The selected character and map are reported not to matter by PowerPyx, but Bandai Namco has not documented them as drop-rate factors.
- Check the post-match rewards, then repeat if no Dragon Ball appears.
The reward is random, so a win does not guarantee a ball. PowerPyx suggests choosing a low-health CPU character such as Teen Gohan to shorten fights; it does not establish a particular difficulty, arena, ring-out rule, or character as a guaranteed faster method.

Read the drop-rate estimate as historical guidance
PowerPyx estimated in 2024 that regular Dragon Balls appeared at roughly a 10% rate—about one per ten wins on average—and estimated 60–70 wins for seven. This is a third-party estimate, not a publisher-confirmed probability or a promise for an individual run. Bandai Namco’s May 25, 2026 update notice and the update information on its official game page do not establish whether the older estimate remains current. Use the match route as reported, but treat both the rate and time to collect a full set as uncertain.
Get Namekian Dragon Balls for Porunga
Porunga requires Namekian Dragon Balls, not the regular set. PowerPyx’s October 8, 2024 guide reports that they can appear as post-match rewards and drop less often than regular Dragon Balls. It does not give an official probability, so there is no reliable win count or completion time to plan around. Check the rewards after matches and keep collecting the Namekian set separately.

Get Super Dragon Balls for Super Shenron
PowerPyx’s October 7, 2024 guide reports that completing Goku’s Episode Battle saga awards all seven Super Dragon Balls. It also identifies some optional Episode Battle sub-chapters as sources of additional sets. Episode Battle itself is a story mode with character paths and alternative scenarios, as described in Bandai Namco’s Game Modes Handbook; that handbook does not independently confirm Dragon Ball rewards. Follow the in-game story and reward notices rather than treating every sub-chapter as a guaranteed set.
Summon the dragon that matches your set
Once you have a complete set, open Come Forth and select the corresponding dragon: Shenron for regular Dragon Balls, Porunga for Namekian Dragon Balls, or Super Shenron for Super Dragon Balls. PowerPyx reports that Shenron grants one wish and Porunga grants three. Review the current wish list and unlock requirements in-game before choosing, since available rewards may depend on version or progression.

Do editions or updates change the farming route?
Bandai Namco’s official product page lists summon bonuses for certain editions or passes, including a Season Pass Shenron summon and an Ultimate Edition Super Shenron summon. These are edition bonuses, not evidence of better random battle drops. Bundles can vary by platform, region, and date, so check the exact product listing before buying; no special edition or accessory is required for the reported offline battle farm. The official game page also lists later updates, including Super Limit-Breaking NEO becoming available on July 30, 2026, but the update information cited here does not say that Dragon Ball reward routes or probabilities changed.
