Buy it from the Item Shop with V-Bucks when it is offered; Epic’s shop listing accessed in 2026 priced the Outfit at 1,500 V-Bucks. The listing can change, and no return date is confirmed.
Is Mecha Morty in the Item Shop?
Yes. Epic introduced Mecha Morty as an Item Shop Outfit on August 21, 2021, reuniting him with Rick, who had been included in the Chapter 2 Season 7 Battle Pass. That distinction matters: Rick’s Battle Pass availability does not mean Mecha Morty is a Battle Pass skin. Epic’s announcement describes Mecha Morty’s Item Shop debut.
How to get Mecha Morty
- Open Fortnite and check the Item Shop for Mecha Morty.
- If it is listed, select the Outfit and purchase it with V-Bucks.
- Confirm the current price and whether you want the individual Outfit or an offered bundle before completing the purchase.
Epic’s Item Shop listing accessed in 2026 showed Mecha Morty for 1,500 V-Bucks. The shop rotates, so treat that as a captured listing rather than a guaranteed future price.
How much is the Mecha Morty bundle?
The same Epic listing displayed a Mecha Morty Bundle for 2,200 V-Bucks, against a displayed original price of 3,300 V-Bucks. Those are volatile listing figures, not a promise that the bundle is currently available or will return at that price. The official bundle page accessed for this article showed the offer as unavailable. Check the live Item Shop before deciding.

- PEELY: Board the Battle Bus and drop in with Fortnite Legendary Peely!
- FORTNITE: 6-inch action figure is inspired by the video game Fortnite
- ARTICULATED: Feature 28 points of articulation to win any Battle Royale
- ACCESSORIES: Comes equipped with Back Bling and Harvesting Tools
- BONUS CODE: Code for virtual item included: CODE
If both options are offered, compare the bundle’s contents and current price with the individual Outfit, especially if you already own any included items. A bundle is only worthwhile if its remaining cosmetics are worth the extra V-Bucks to you.
What comes with Mecha Morty?
Epic’s 2021 announcement introduced the Outfit alongside Morty-themed cosmetics: Morty’s Backpack Back Bling, Space Snake Pickaxe, Look at Me! Wrap, and Get Schwifty Emote. Their original accompaniment does not establish that every item is available in the shop now.

Can a V-Bucks or Fortnite gift card get Mecha Morty?
V-Bucks are Fortnite’s in-game currency, and Epic says they can be used to buy Outfits and other cosmetics. A card can fund a purchase, but it does not grant Mecha Morty or bypass the Item Shop: you still need the Outfit to be offered and then buy it in-game. See Epic’s V-Bucks card information before buying or redeeming a card.
- Check the card type and whether it is sold and redeemable in your region. Some cards are territory restricted.
- Epic is transitioning some regions from V-Bucks cards to Fortnite gift cards, so confirm which kind applies where you live.
- Review the applicable account and platform terms before purchase; card compatibility can depend on region and device or platform conditions.
When will Mecha Morty return?
There is no verified return date. The bundle page’s unavailable status is a snapshot, not a schedule. Check Fortnite’s live Item Shop for an actual offer rather than relying on a predicted rotation.
