The original Manaphy Egg Mystery Gift offer ended on February 21, 2022, so it is no longer available through that promotion.
How to get Mew
- Make sure the Nintendo Switch profile you use for Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl has save data for Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!.
- In your Sinnoh game, go to the flower field at the southwest end of Floaroma Town.
- Speak to the madame in the field to receive Mew.
Nintendo says you can receive only one Mew in a given Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl game, even if the system has save data for both Let’s Go titles. Nintendo’s game page describes the save-data gift.
How to get Jirachi
- Make sure the Nintendo Switch profile you use for your Sinnoh game has save data for Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield.
- Go to the flower field at the southwest end of Floaroma Town.
- Speak to the gentleman there to receive Jirachi.
Only one Jirachi can be received in a given Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl game, even if you have qualifying save data for both Sword and Shield. Nintendo’s game page lists the gift requirements.

Can you still get the Manaphy Egg?
No—not through the original early-purchase Mystery Gift promotion. The Pokémon Company said players could claim a Manaphy Egg using Mystery Gift’s “Get via Internet” option through Monday, February 21, 2022. That deadline has passed, and the official announcement does not establish another current direct method to obtain Manaphy in these games. The Pokémon Company’s announcement also said a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership was not required for that claim.

At the time of the promotion, the Egg could be placed in the party and hatched by walking during the Sinnoh adventure. Unlocking Mystery Gift now does not bring back the expired distribution.

- Progress to Jubilife City and enter the TV station.
- Go to the third floor and speak to the producer.
- When asked for your favorite TV program, choose “EVERYONE HAPPY WI-FI CONNECTION.”
- After the feature is unlocked, open the in-game Mystery Gift menu to claim any gifts currently being distributed.
Nintendo estimates Mystery Gift becomes accessible after about two hours of play, but the time varies with your progress. This unlock only gives access to the feature; it does not make the expired Manaphy offer claimable again. See Nintendo Support’s Mystery Gift instructions.
