Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesTo remove your Agent from a Minecraft Education world, open the in-game chat, enter /remove @c, and submit the command. This removes your own Agent from that world; it does not permanently disable the Agent feature.
Remove your own Agent
- Open the chat panel in your world using the chat control configured for your device.
- Type
/remove @c. - Submit the command. Your Agent should be removed from the current world.
Minecraft Education Support documents @c as the selector for your own Agent in its Code Builder in Minecraft Education guide. The guide does not specify one chat-opening key for every device or control setup.
Choose a command based on which Agents to remove
| Command | Scope |
|---|---|
/remove @c |
Removes your own Agent. |
/remove @v |
Removes all Agents. |
/remove @e |
Removes entities and Agents. Other players’ Agents are excluded unless the person running the command is a worldbuilder. |
These selectors and the worldbuilder limitation are documented by Minecraft Education Support. Use /remove @c if you only want your own Agent gone; the broader selectors can affect more than your Agent.
If the command does not remove the Agent
- Check that you entered
/remove @cin the world’s chat and submitted it. - Confirm that the Agent you want to remove is yours. The all-Agent selector is
/remove @v; removing other players’ Agents with the broader/remove @ecommand is subject to the worldbuilder limitation.
Although Microsoft Learn documents /kill as a command for killing entities that requires cheats, its general /kill reference does not identify it as the recommended Agent-removal command for Minecraft Education. Use the Education-specific /remove selectors instead.
