Look for a loose ceiling tile above the Service Station’s health packs or med-kits. Open it, find a way up into the hidden room, then check its stock: the Human Grenade and Duct Tape Grenade may appear, but neither item is guaranteed on every visit.
Find the hidden room entrance
In the Service Station, head to the health-pack or med-kit area and look at the ceiling. Community guides place the hidden opening above that section, near the health-pack endcap. The room’s layout and stock can vary, but the guides say this ceiling location remains the place to check.

Open the ceiling tile
Find the loose tile and grab and pull it open. A Steam Community guide by mAFia boSS and collaborators also describes throwing grenades at ceiling tiles, but says pulling the tile is enough once you know which one to open. That Steam page is marked removed from the community and incompatible with R.E.P.O., so treat its instructions as community-reported rather than official guidance. The available walkthroughs date from March 2025; behavior may change between game versions.

The opening is overhead, so you need a way to reach it. Choose an approach based on your equipment and whether you are playing solo or with others:
#1 Best Overall
- Compatible with Windows and Android.
- 1000Hz Polling Rate (for 2.4G and wired connection)
- Hall Effect joysticks and Hall triggers. Wear-resistant metal joystick rings.
- Extra R4/L4 bumpers. Custom button mapping without using software. Turbo function.
- Refined bumpers and D-pad. Light but tactile.
Solo approaches
- Use a drone: The guides mention the Feather Drone and Zero Gravity Drone as ways to get upward.
- Use a Shockwave Mine: It can propel your character toward the opening.
- Stack objects: Build a makeshift route high enough to reach the ceiling gap.
The exact method depends on which equipment and objects are available to you in that run.
Multiplayer approach
One reported method uses the Q shrink mechanic: shrink a player, then have a teammate lift them through the opening. This requires another player to help.

Check the stock and buy what appears
Search the room for the grenades. Its stock is randomized: a visit may offer the Human Grenade, the Duct Tape Grenade, or both. Reaching the room does not guarantee that either specific item will be there.
