To level up your Military rank efficiently in Black Ops 7, combine strong match performance with objective play, Medals, and challenges. Those are the official sources of XP to prioritize; the available official guidance does not establish a fastest playlist or a reliable XP-per-hour rate.
Focus on actions that earn player-level XP
Call of Duty’s progression guide says XP comes from performing well, playing the objective, earning Medals, and completing challenges. Build these into the same match: contribute to the mode’s objective, pursue useful combat and support actions, and check which challenges fit the way you play. Chasing kills while leaving the objective unattended can mean missing one of the stated XP sources.

Check challenges and Daily Challenges
Look in the in-game Challenges menu and complete available tasks that align with your usual play. Challenges are an official XP source, so tracking them gives you another goal alongside the match objective.

There is a specific Daily Challenge bonus for players who have entered Prestige: the official guide says they gain an increased XP bonus each time they complete that day’s three Daily Challenges. That qualification matters; the stated Prestige-specific bonus should not be assumed to apply to players who have not entered Prestige.
Use other modes if you want a change of pace
Level XP is not limited to Multiplayer. The official Black Ops 7 Multiplayer page says players gain Level XP in Multiplayer, Co-Op Campaign, Zombies, Dead Ops Arcade 4, and Call of Duty: Warzone. Switching modes is therefore an option if you want variety while progressing.

Military Level is your player-level track. Weapon XP advances individual weapons instead. The progression guide describes Double Weapon XP Tokens as a way to shorten weapon leveling, but does not establish that they boost Military Level. Use those tokens for weapon progression, not as a player-rank shortcut.

Know what Prestige changes at Military Level 55
At Military Level 55, you can choose to begin Prestige. Doing so resets your player level to Level 1 and relocks Level Unlocks, so it is not a way to keep climbing the same level track without a reset.
The progression guide says Prestige preserves weapon progression, Operators, challenge progress, Mastery Badges, Weapon Builds, and customization. Decide whether you want to continue into Prestige with that reset before selecting it; reaching Level 55 does not require treating the reset as a routine shortcut.
