Is Sub-Zero in the Fortnite Item Shop right now?
Sub-Zero was not among the displayed offerings on Epic’s Fortnite Item Shop page when checked on October 8, 2026. That is a snapshot, not a forecast; shop availability can change. Epic directs players to the in-game Item Shop for the complete representation of available cosmetics, so check there before deciding whether you can buy the outfit.
How to get the Sub-Zero outfit if it returns
-
Open Fortnite and go to the in-game Item Shop.
-
Look for Sub-Zero or a Mortal Kombat grouping. Confirm the exact item name and that the listing is the outfit you want.
-
Review the listing’s included cosmetics, price, and any regional or platform terms shown in-game.

If you choose to buy it, use the shop’s purchase flow. Epic says V-Bucks can be used in the Fortnite web and in-game Item Shops; they can fund a purchase when the cosmetic is listed. The official sources reviewed do not establish Sub-Zero’s current price.
If the outfit is absent, the sources checked do not establish an immediate shop purchase or another confirmed unlock route. Check the shop again after it updates; Epic’s reviewed sources do not give a return timetable.

What is known about the item’s name and past listings?
An older Epic shop search-result listing, crawled about four months before October 8, 2026, includes a Mortal Kombat grouping and an item called “Sub-Zero Kombat.” That result does not establish that “Sub-Zero Kombat” is the outfit, nor does it show that the outfit is currently available. Treat the in-game listing’s exact name and contents as decisive rather than assuming similarly named cosmetics are interchangeable. The older result is available at Epic’s Fortnite Item Shop listing.
Can you use V-Bucks or a gift card?
Epic’s Fortnite search result for V-Bucks says the currency can be used in the web and in-game Item Shops. That makes V-Bucks a way to pay for an eligible listed cosmetic, not a way to unlock Sub-Zero while the outfit is unavailable. A gift card may be a way to fund a later purchase, but check the specific card’s region, platform, redemption method, and retailer terms before buying it; the sources reviewed do not verify particular card terms or listings.
