To craft your first Nemesis in The Division 2, collect four named components and the Nemesis blueprint. The components come from Tidal Basin and three Invaded strongholds; the blueprint comes from Puck in Invaded Grand Washington Hotel. Once you have all five items, craft the rifle at a crafting station.
Nemesis parts and blueprint locations
| Item | Where to get it | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Scope — The Tally | Tidal Basin | Complete the Tidal Basin route described in the current acquisition guide. Ubisoft identifies Tidal Basin as a stronghold in its Tidal Basin overview. |
| Stock — The Bridle | Invaded District Union Arena | Defeat Klutz. |
| Bolt — The Scales | Invaded Roosevelt Island | Defeat Shorty. |
| Barrel — The Scourge | Invaded Capitol Building | Defeat Prime. |
| Nemesis Blueprint | Invaded Grand Washington Hotel | Defeat Puck. |
The component sequence and boss locations are identified in the Nemesis acquisition guide. Invasion availability and progression requirements can change, so check the current in-game map and activity requirements rather than relying on older World Tier instructions.
How to get the first Nemesis
- Complete the Tidal Basin route and collect Scope — The Tally.
- Complete the Invaded District Union Arena, Roosevelt Island, and Capitol Building activities, defeating Klutz, Shorty, and Prime to collect their named parts.
- Complete Invaded Grand Washington Hotel and defeat Puck to obtain the blueprint.
- When all four components and the blueprint are in your inventory, use a crafting station to make Nemesis.
How to get another Nemesis
After crafting or otherwise obtaining the rifle, you can pursue additional copies through sniper-rifle targeted loot. The acquisition guide lists The Summit, Countdown, and other activities with sniper targeted loot as options. Targeted loot does not establish a guaranteed Nemesis drop, and the guide provides no drop rate; check the activity’s current loot selection before farming.
Should you reconfigure a Nemesis?
Reconfiguration is for an Exotic you already own, not a replacement for collecting the first-craft components. Ubisoft’s 2020 explanation of Exotic reconfiguration says the blueprint for a specific Exotic can be purchased from Inaya after you own that Exotic. Reconfiguration costs one Exotic Component plus that Exotic’s generic crafting materials, brings the item up to the crafting-bench level (up to level 40 under the described system), and rerolls its attributes.

Because attributes are rerolled, the result can be worse as well as better. Inspect the Nemesis you have and the current crafting-station cost before committing an Exotic Component. Ubisoft’s explanation dates to April 15, 2020, so verify current costs and level limits in-game.
