The event is active as of October 8, 2026, and the announced North American run ends October 13 at 7:59 a.m. PDT. To get it, begin the event quest with Kipih Jakkya in Ul’dah, then exchange MGP for the Regalia Type-G Title at the Gold Saucer’s Ironworks Vendor.
Is the Regalia event available right now?
Yes. Square Enix’s North American notice lists the 2026 return of A Nocturne for Heroes from September 24, 2026, at 1:00 a.m. PDT through October 13, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. PDT. It says the event is identical to its previous iteration and lists the Regalia Type-G among the rewards. As of October 8, 2026, the event is still running. Read the official event notice.
How to get the Regalia Type-G
- Start the collaboration quest. Speak with Kipih Jakkya at Ul’dah: Steps of Nald, at X:8.5, Y:9.7. This is the official quest-starter location given in the event blog. See Square Enix’s event blog.
- Complete the event questline. The 2026 return is described as identical to the prior event. Follow the quest objectives in game; the current announcement does not spell out every quest step or list separate unlock conditions.
- Visit the Ironworks Vendor in the Gold Saucer. Exchange MGP for the Regalia Type-G Title. Use that title item to acquire the mount. The vendor’s current numeric MGP price is not stated in the official sources cited here, so check the vendor in game before budgeting.
What the mount does
The Regalia Type-G carries up to four players, including the driver. Square Enix also notes that character poses vary depending on seating position. This makes it a party-capable mount rather than a solo-only car. Square Enix’s mount details.
Is it a Dawntrail Collector’s Edition reward?
No. The Regalia comes from the FFXV crossover event, not from purchasing the Dawntrail Collector’s Edition. The Collector’s Edition listing names the Ark Mount among its bonuses; it does not list the Regalia Type-G. See the official Dawntrail listing.

What if the event has ended?
The 2026 notice establishes availability only for the stated event window. If you are reading after October 13, 2026, the cited sources do not establish a permanent purchase route or another active way to earn the mount. Check official FFXIV event announcements for any future return rather than assuming the Gold Saucer exchange remains available year-round.
