You can give another Roblox user Robux through Roblox’s direct transfer feature, but the sender must have Roblox Plus and the recipient must accept the transfer. If that option is unavailable, a Roblox gift card may work; Roblox’s separate Gifting Robux link feature is limited to select eligible users in the United States.
Send Robux with Roblox’s direct transfer feature
Roblox documents direct transfers from a recipient’s profile or the Buy Robux page. The sender needs Roblox Plus; the recipient does not. Eligibility depends on age, account status and, in some cases, location or parental approval. See Roblox’s Sending and Receiving Robux and transaction help pages for current details.
Check age and account requirements
- Roblox says users aged 16 and older must complete an Age Check.
- Users under 16 need a linked parent account, and a parent or caregiver must approve each transfer.
- Some regions require approval for users under 18.
Make and accept the transfer
- Sign in and open the recipient’s Roblox profile or the Buy Robux page.
- Start the transfer, enter the amount, and carefully review the recipient and amount.
- Select Send.
- The recipient opens the pending-transfer notification and selects Accept. Roblox says the Robux are added instantly after acceptance. Check the status in My Transactions.
Roblox currently lists standard limits of up to 500 Robux per day and 1,000 per month. Eligible users with 2-Step Verification enabled and accounts in good standing may qualify for limits of up to 5,000 per day and 10,000 per month. Roblox says limits may change, so check the transfer screen and current support page before relying on a particular allowance.
Transfers are final: they cannot be canceled or reversed. Confirm the username and amount before sending, and transfer only to people you know.

Use a Roblox gift card if a direct transfer won’t work
Gift cards are an alternative when the sender cannot use direct transfer or prefers to give a redeemable card. Roblox’s US gift-card terms say cards are sold by online and in-store authorized retailers and distributors. Depending on the card, redemption may add Robux directly or add account credit for use under Roblox’s terms. Check the card’s region, type, seller authorization and redemption conditions before buying. Roblox’s terms do not establish that a particular marketplace seller or listing is authorized: Roblox Gift Card Terms.
Roblox’s Ways to Get Robux page says web, computer and gift-card purchases receive up to 25% more Robux under the policy it describes. That guidance is not a guarantee for every denomination, retailer price or third-party listing.

Roblox’s Gifting Robux link has narrower availability
This is different from transferring Robux already in an account. An eligible requestor uses the Buy Robux page on desktop or web to choose Request Robux, then shares a link or QR code. The gifter opens it in a browser, checks the requestor’s username and avatar, chooses a package and optional message, verifies a phone number and completes checkout. A Roblox account is not required for the gifter’s phone verification.
Roblox says the feature is available only to select users in the US on computer or web. The requestor must be at least 18 on Roblox; the gifter must be at least 18, live in the US and verify a phone number at checkout. Purchases are final and non-refundable, and the requestor cannot reject a gift after it arrives. Packages use standard pricing, without virtual bonus items or bonus Robux, and do not receive Premium pricing even if the recipient has a monthly Premium Membership. See Gifting Robux for Roblox’s current eligibility and process.

Group payouts are for group funds, not casual gifts
Roblox describes group payouts as one-time or scheduled payments from funds held by a group. Income from group-owned experiences is applied to the group. This makes payouts relevant for distributing legitimate group funds to contributors, not a general way to send purchased Robux to a friend. Roblox explains the group context in its transaction help.

Avoid Robux transfer scams
- Use Roblox’s own transfer, gift-link or card redemption routes.
- Never send Robux to someone claiming they need it to verify an account. Roblox states: “Roblox will never ask you to send Robux to another user to verify your account or for any other reason.” See Roblox Support.
- Roblox says there is no such thing as a Robux generator; offers promising one are scams. See Roblox’s Robux guidance.
- Do not send Robux for an off-platform promise to buy or sell experiences between users. Roblox says it has no official system for users to buy or sell experiences directly to each other: Roblox Support.
