You can’t cancel a Battle.net payment while it is in progress. Check the order in your Battle.net Transaction History and wait for its status to resolve; Blizzard says this can take up to 48 hours. Don’t try the purchase again while it’s pending, since repeated attempts can create multiple temporary authorization holds.
Check the order status in Transaction History
- Sign in to the Battle.net account used for the purchase.
- Open Battle.net Transaction History and find the order.
- Check whether its status is in progress, incomplete or failed, or complete.
Blizzard’s Cancel a Pending Order guidance says a payment in progress cannot be canceled. Its payment troubleshooting guidance says an in-progress transaction can take up to 48 hours to change to Complete. Wait for the status to update rather than submitting the purchase again.

If the order is still in progress
Wait for the order to resolve. Repeated purchase attempts can lead to multiple temporary authorization holds on your payment account. If the transaction remains unresolved, or Blizzard’s guidance directs you to contact support before placing another order, use the official Battle.net Support area. Some account-specific support options may require signing in.
If the order is incomplete or failed
Blizzard says you will not be charged for an incomplete order. However, your bank or other payment provider may still show a temporary authorization hold after a failed or canceled order. Blizzard says only the payment provider can remove that hold and that the provider should release the funds shortly. Contact the provider if the hold remains; the exact release timing depends on the provider.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
