What “invite them to your home” means
Hello Kitty Island Adventure has separate personal cabins, Visitor Cabins, and multiplayer guest cabins. Sanrio characters arrive through the Island Visitor system and can become permanent residents of the Visitor Cabin where they are staying. The game’s official site describes cabin decorating as a way to bring new visitors to the island.

How to get a Sanrio character to visit
- Unlock and repair Visitor Cabins. Progress through the Friends and Family quest to unlock more cabins. A character may also have their own friendship, quest, or linked-resident prerequisite.
- Check that character’s requirements. Open the in-game Visitors menu and select the character. Requirements vary: they can specify a region, named furnishings, a quantity of items with a particular tag, another resident, or game progress.
- Prepare an eligible cabin. Repair an empty Visitor Cabin in the required region and furnish it to meet every item and count shown in the Visitors menu.
- Wait for the character’s travel window. Meeting the cabin requirements makes the character eligible to visit, but some visitors follow recurring or seasonal schedules. Others may be available at any time.
- Optionally add items with tags the character likes. After satisfying all required conditions, matching liked tags can improve the chance of a visit and raise the cabin’s displayed hearts. The available sources do not establish an exact arrival probability for each heart level.

How to make a visitor move in permanently
Complete their requests
While the character is visiting, complete their Daily Quest when it becomes available. The move-in requirement is five occasions of completing Daily Quests, which raises the visitor to five stars.

Ask them to stay
At five stars, talk to the character and choose the option to become a permanent resident. They will live in the Visitor Cabin where they were staying. Some visitor quests require the character to be a permanent resident before you can continue them.
If the character does not arrive
Check the character’s requirements in the Visitors menu, in this order:

- Is the cabin in the required region?
- Are all specified item names, tags, and quantities present?
- Have you completed any listed friendship, quest, progression, or linked-character condition?
- Is the character currently traveling, or does their schedule mean you need to wait?
Liked-tag furnishings may improve the chance of arrival once the requirements are met, but they do not substitute for a missing requirement. After a visitor has moved in as a five-star resident, you no longer need to maintain the original cabin requirements. Regional restrictions may still limit where that resident can live.
Is a Visitor Cabin the same as a multiplayer guest cabin?
No. The game’s Friend cabin guide describes inviting a multiplayer friend to an unoccupied, repaired Visitor Cabin after meeting the relevant multiplayer quest and friendship conditions. That is separate from attracting a Sanrio character through the Island Visitor system.
