Check when Firelands Timewalking is available
Firelands Timewalking is available during the Cataclysm Timewalking event, not as a permanent raid option. Check the in-game calendar or Adventure Guide for the event schedule; Blizzard identifies the calendar as a reference for rotating Bonus Events. The schedule changes, so confirm the dates in your game. Blizzard’s Firelands Timewalking guide and its Timewalking event overview explain the event and access routes.
Find or create a Firelands raid group
- When Cataclysm Timewalking is active, press I to open Group Finder.
- Select Premade Groups.
- Search for a Firelands Timewalking raid that is forming, or create a raid listing and wait for players to join.
- Join the assembled group and follow its instructions for entering Firelands.
Blizzard’s event guide lists the raid as Normal difficulty and says it is not available through Raid Finder. The same guide lists characters level 35 and above as eligible and a raid group size of 1–30 players; check your live client if it shows different requirements. Read Blizzard’s Firelands guide.
Why the Dungeon Finder queue is different
Dungeon Finder’s Timewalking queue is for Timewalking dungeons. It is not the access route for the Firelands raid. For the raid, use Premade Groups to find or assemble players. Blizzard’s general Timewalking instructions describe the dungeon queue, while its Firelands guide gives the separate raid instructions. Blizzard also publishes a Cataclysm Timewalking event overview.
