Roblox sign-in works differently by platform: on PC, log in at Roblox.com and launch an experience; on mobile, use the Roblox app; on Xbox One, choose Sign In in the Roblox app to connect your existing account to the Xbox profile currently signed in. Here’s the right path for each, plus what to do if you can’t get in.
Log in to Roblox on a PC
- Open Roblox.com in a modern browser such as Edge, Firefox, or Chrome, then sign in with your Roblox account.
- Open the experience you want to play and select Play. If Roblox Player is not installed, the site indicates that it is installing and then launches it.
- For later sessions, select Play on an experience page again. If your browser asks which application to open, choose Roblox.
This is the website sign-in flow followed by a launch into Roblox Player, rather than a separate desktop-only login process. Roblox Support: Install and Play a Roblox Game.

Log in to Roblox on mobile
- Open the Roblox app and tap Login.
- Enter your Roblox username and password, then tap Login.
Some supported mobile apps also allow sign-in with a verified email address or phone number and the account password. Email sign-in requires a verified email. If the same email is linked to multiple usernames, use the account username instead. Phone sign-in is available only in some mobile apps and requires a verified number. See Roblox Support’s guidance on email login and phone login.

Log in to Roblox on Xbox One
- Open the Roblox app on Xbox One.
- Choose Sign In to connect an existing Roblox account to the Xbox profile currently signed in.
- Enter the Roblox username and password when prompted.
The app may instead show Create Account or the gamertag of the signed-in Xbox profile. Roblox’s Xbox instructions require the Roblox username and password to connect accounts; Facebook Connect is not available through Xbox. For a child Xbox account, a parent may need to grant permission through the Xbox Family account before Roblox will launch. Roblox Support: Xbox One App.

Can you use Quick Login?
Quick Login lets you authorize a new device with a one-time code generated on that device and entered from a device where you are already logged in. On the logged-in device, go to Account Settings > Quick Login and enter the code. Roblox says the code is valid for five minutes, the devices must be near each other, and the feature may not be available to every player. It is unavailable on Xbox. Only enter a code you requested yourself. Roblox Support: Quick Login.
What to do if Roblox sign-in fails
If you forgot your password
On the login page, select Forgot Password or Username? and follow the reset flow using the email attached to your account, or the phone recovery option if a phone number is attached and no email is available. If neither contact method is linked, automated password reset cannot complete recovery; contact Roblox Customer Support and be ready to verify that you own the account. If Xbox shows Error 901
Roblox lists moderation and sign-in or account-linking conditions among possible causes. One suggested troubleshooting sequence is to sign in to Roblox on another device connected to the same home network, then retry the Xbox app while it is on that network. Roblox Support: Xbox One Error 901.
