As of May 30, 2026, creating a Roblox pass no longer makes it purchasable through a PLS DONATE booth. Roblox disabled cross-experience pass sales, so the traditional method—creating a pass, setting a price, and refreshing your booth—does not work for new donations. Roblox recommends using Robux transfers for systems that previously depended on cross-game pass sales.
You can still create a pass for your own Roblox experience. The current Creator Hub process is below, along with the reason it will not provide the old PLS DONATE donation buttons.

The short answer
You cannot currently create a new gamepass that PLS DONATE can sell through its booth system. Roblox’s current terminology is Passes, and Roblox disabled cross-game pass purchases beginning May 30, 2026. A pass created for your experience can no longer be purchased from another experience such as PLS DONATE.
The official PLS DONATE game page may still show the older “Create a gamepass” instructions. Those instructions do not reflect Roblox’s current cross-game-sales rules.

How to create a Roblox pass in Creator Hub
This procedure creates a legitimate pass for your own experience. It does not make the pass usable as a PLS DONATE booth donation.
- Publish your experience. The experience must be published and accessible on Roblox before you can create a pass.
- Open Roblox Creator Hub’s pass documentation and sign in.
- Go to Creations and select the experience that will own the pass.
- Open Monetization, then Passes.
- Click Create pass.
- Upload an icon, enter a pass name and description, choose a category, and click Create pass.
Pass-icon requirements
- Maximum size: 512 × 512 pixels.
- Accepted formats: .jpg, .png, or .bmp.
- Keep important artwork inside the icon’s circular safe area because Roblox displays the icon with a circular crop.
How to find the pass asset ID
After creating the pass:
- Return to Monetization → Passes for the correct experience.
- Hover over the pass thumbnail.
- Click the ⋯ menu.
- Select Copy Asset ID.
The asset ID identifies the pass, but copying it into PLS DONATE or refreshing a booth cannot restore cross-game purchasing. The restriction is enforced by Roblox’s sales system.
How to configure a pass for sale
A pass is a one-time Robux purchase intended for a permanent privilege or other benefit inside the experience that owns it. Configure its sale settings from the pass’s Creator Hub page and choose the Robux price yourself.

If you want an item to be purchased repeatedly, Roblox says to use a Developer Product instead of a pass.
Creating a pass is free, but the listed price is not necessarily the amount the creator receives. Roblox deducts a transaction fee, and proceeds first appear as Pending Robux while they are held in escrow. You can check the balance and transaction status through My Transactions. See Roblox’s official Experience Passes help page for the platform’s current payout information.
Why the old PLS DONATE method stopped working
Under the former cross-game model, an experience such as PLS DONATE could sell a pass created by another experience. Roblox documentation described a split in which the original creator received 60% and the selling experience received a 10% affiliate fee. That model is being disabled beginning May 30, 2026, so those percentages should not be used as the current PLS DONATE payout rule.

In practical terms, the old workflow is no longer valid:
- Create a pass for your experience.
- Set it for sale.
- Join PLS DONATE.
- Refresh the booth so PLS DONATE loads the pass.
- Have another player buy it from the booth.
After the shutdown, PLS DONATE cannot use the old cross-experience purchase mechanism. The pass itself may still exist and may still be sold through its own experience, but it will not function as a new PLS DONATE booth donation.
Common problems and what they mean
The pass does not appear in Creator Hub
Check that you selected the correct experience and that it is both published and accessible on Roblox. Roblox requires those conditions before pass creation.

The pass exists but cannot be purchased
First check that the pass is configured for sale. If the attempted purchase is coming from another experience, such as PLS DONATE, the May 30, 2026 cross-game-sales shutdown is the likely reason.
My PLS DONATE booth has no donation buttons
Refreshing the booth will not fix a system that is trying to sell passes belonging to another experience. The old cross-game sales route has been disabled by Roblox.
The icon looks cut off
Rework the image so important text and artwork stay inside the circular safe area. Roblox may crop content placed near the square icon’s edges.

I expected to receive the full Robux price
The displayed price is the sale price, not necessarily the creator’s final proceeds. Roblox applies a transaction fee, and the proceeds may remain pending in escrow before becoming spendable.

- “Create a gamepass and PLS DONATE will automatically display it.” This is outdated after the cross-game-sales change.
- “PLS DONATE takes 10% and the creator gets 60%.” Those figures describe the former affiliate model, not a current general PLS DONATE rule.
- “Gamepasses can be bought from any experience.” They cannot under Roblox’s current cross-game-sales policy.
- “Use a command to create or activate the pass.” Passes are created and configured through Creator Hub. There is no command syntax that re-enables PLS DONATE sales.
What to use instead
For systems that previously relied on cross-game pass sales, Roblox recommends Robux transfers. The exact transfer method and availability can depend on the system implementing it, but creating another pass and repeatedly refreshing a PLS DONATE booth will not bypass Roblox’s restriction.
