Game8 lists two berry combinations as examples: 8 Hyper Haban Berries, or 4 Hyper Tanga Berries plus 4 Hyper Haban Berries. These are reported recipes, not official guarantees; check the donut’s generated powers in-game before relying on it.
How to unlock donut making
- Make sure you have access to the Mega Dimension DLC. The Pokémon Company announced the DLC for release on December 10, 2025: official DLC announcement.
- According to Game8, complete the side mission “Donuts of Unworldly Deliciousness!” and speak to Ansha at Hotel Z to access donut making. The Pokémon Company identifies Ansha as the donut chef, but its official announcement does not confirm this unlock sequence. See Game8’s guide.
Try one of these reported Sparkling Power recipes
Game8 lists these berry combinations as examples for Sparkling Power. The reported flavor totals are included for comparison; the source does not establish that either recipe is more reliable or more cost-efficient.

Check the donut’s powers before relying on it
After crafting, inspect the donut’s generated Flavor Powers in-game. If Sparkling Power does not appear, the sources available do not establish a guaranteed recipe or odds, so do not assume that repeating either combination will produce it.

Why berries affect donuts
The Pokémon Company explains that Ansha makes donuts from berries for Hoopa, and that the berries determine the effects. Hyperspace Berries produce stronger effects than regular berries. In the company’s November 6, 2025 announcement: “When you feed a donut to Hoopa, the donut can yield a number of different effects while in hyperspace — such as powering up the Pokémon you have with you — depending on what Berries the donut was made with.” Read the official explanation.
The official announcement describes the berry-based donut system, but does not publish these specific Sparkling Power recipes or a shiny encounter probability. No numerical shiny rate can be inferred from the recipe examples.
