Damaged Emperor Relays are reported to activate under the Redirection map condition. Interact with an active relay
Loot the active relay to obtain an Emperor Beacon, also called an antenna in one guide. Use the item name shown in your game as the authoritative label. Dot Esports and TheGamer describe the relay-to-payload process.

Deploy the beacon, then loot the payload
Place the beacon in open ground and move away. Wait for the payload and falling debris to settle before approaching. The payload can contain the conduit blueprint and ARC Couplers. The blueprint is reported as random or rare loot; guides do not establish a drop percentage or a guaranteed number of payloads.

Extract with your finds
Return to Speranza with the blueprint and any couplers you found. A guide reports that you must learn the blueprint after extraction before you can craft the conduit.
Learn and craft the Emperor Gateway Conduit
Learn the blueprint in Speranza, then craft the item at Workbench I. The reported recipe is one of each of these distinct parts:
- 1 ARC Conductive Coupler
- 1 ARC Insulated Coupler
- 1 ARC Plated Coupler
All three couplers are reported as Emperor Payload loot. A guide also reports that Celeste’s “Sizing Things Up” quest can award one ARC Conductive Coupler from a buried payload, once; this can supplement farming if the quest is available and unfinished. The recipe and quest reward are described in TheGamer’s guide.
Use the conduit at the Fallen Emperor
Take the crafted conduit to the Fallen Emperor entrance on Pendola Pass and use the unlock prompt. Guides quote the prompt as “Unlock (1/1 Emperor Gateway Conduit),” though its formatting may vary. One conduit opens the door, and it is reported to be consumed in the process, so another entry requires another conduit. GamesRadar covers the entrance and its reported use.

Can you skip farming for a first entry?
A level 60 Frozen Trail Reward Pass reward is reported to grant one ready-made conduit. Treat this as a one-time bypass, not a replacement for learning the blueprint if you want to craft conduits for later entries. Check the current pass in-game before planning around the reward; availability may change. TheGamer reports this option.

The Fallen Emperor interior is described as a dungeon whose room order changes between sessions, so a fixed route is not reliable. Guides also report amplification-related materials and Emperor Modulators inside; an Emperor Modulator is used for the level IV Gunsmith Workbench upgrade.
